Please don’t let these celebrities lead you to ruin your life. Cardi won’t have to flee across state lines for an abortion, or be stopped and asked for her “papers”—her kids don’t have to rely on a free lunch program to get a good meal during the summer. Her wealth and fame will protect her from any possible political outcome, but it won’t protect you.
