Soneium: Beyond Blockchain Infrastructure 💿 What happens when blockchain meets entertainment, IP and AI? @soneium is exploring new possibilities at this intersection. 🌐 What Makes Soneium’s Recent Developments Important? 💿 Bringing K-pop IP Onchain On September 28, 2026, Soneium announced a partnership with DayOneDream to bring K-pop intellectual property onchain as tokenized IPs through its WAVIST platform. The goal is to explore new ways for fans to participate and IP owners to unlock value from their intellectual property. 💿 Making IP Licensing Readable by AI On October 6, 2026, Soneium announced support for ERC-8432, an open standard for onchain IP registration and licensing. It helps applications and AI agents identify IP, understand licensing terms, and verify agreements onchain. Because owning a digital asset does not automatically mean you have the right to use its IP. 💿 The Bigger Picture Both developments point toward a bigger idea: connecting digital ownership with licensing, participation, and real value. Soneium is exploring ways to make digital assets more useful across applications, platforms, and AI-powered experiences. It is not just about bringing assets onchain. It is also about creating new ways to use, license, and build around digital IP.

AI agents can discover, remix, and reuse creative works in seconds. But holding an IP token alone doesn’t tell an agent what it’s allowed to do. ERC-8432 proposes a common interface to register Tokenized IP, publish machine-readable license terms, and check agreements onchain. Soneium intends to support ERC-8432 as one of the open standards in this area. Tokenized IP + AI agents + ERC-8432 - rights that travel with the work, and agents that can act on them. 💿
