안녕하세요, 더보이즈 선우입니다. 어떻게 하면 제 솔직한 생각과 심정이 제대로 묻어나올까, 혹여나 스스로 진심이 아닌데 글을 적고 있지는 않나, 고민하고 생각하다가 글이 많이 늦어진 점 죄송합니다. 우선 많이 지치셨을 거라고 생각합니다. 제 언행과 불찰에 대해 끊임없이 되돌아보고 또 되돌아보고 있습니다. 개인적인 생각과 이성적이지 못한 제 언행에 의해 전하고 싶은 말의 의도가 변질되었고, 그런 생각이 전혀 없었음에도 제 감정에 휩쓸려 받아들이시는 분들이 그렇게 느껴질 수밖에 없게 언행에 신경 쓰지 못한 점 사과드리고 싶습니다. 단순히 이 상황을 넘기기 위한 글이 절대 아니라는 것을 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 제가 부족하기 때문에 처음부터 성숙하게 대응하지 못했고, 선 넘는 비난들로 입은 상처를 방어하려던 제 언행이 많은 분들께 상처를 드렸습니다. 그저 용서를 바라거나 억울하다는 말을 전하고 싶은 것이 아니라 누군가에게 그렇게 보였다면, 저는 정말 그런 사람이었을 수도 있었겠다는 점을 먼저 인지해야 했습니다. 그리고 앞으로 저 자신이 그런 사람이 아니란 것을, 사람과 사람의 관계와 마음이 정말 소중하고 중요하다고 생각하는 사람이라는 것을, 시간이 걸리더라도 여러분들께 그리고 제 자신에게 증명해 나가겠습니다. 마지막으로 이 글은 저의 불찰과 미숙함에 대하여 비판해 주신 분들 그리고 제 행동을 보며 불편함으로 인하여 상처받으셨을 분들, 또한 저를 사랑해 주시는 제 주위의 모든 분들께 전달하는 저의 죄송한 마음입니다. 이 글을 통하여 제 마음이 한 치의 오해 없이 전달되었으면 좋겠습니다. 다시 한번 성숙하지 못한 저의 대처들로 인하여 불편함과 상처를 받으신 모든 분들께 진심으로 사과드립니다. 그리고 저를 사랑해 주신 더비분들께 너무 죄송합니다. 선우 드림.

I was surprised too when I saw all the malicious comments and messages telling me to apologize on my Instagram. I don’t think it’s right to judge someone based on just a short clip. But to be clear, I wasn’t trying to label that person or decide what kind of person he is. So, my comment—that he ought to be scolded—was simply an emotional reaction to his behavior and words, not of the person himself. He saw that he had dropped his AirPods and yelled, ‘My AirPods!’ so that everyone around could hear. But he didn’t take a single step, even though they were just a few steps away. Who was he expecting to pick them up? Was he unable to move? Was it because he was with someone much younger, and assumed that since they’re his guard, they should act as his hands and feet? Or was he talking to the AirPods he dropped, telling it to come to him on their own? 
No, that’s not what I saw in the video. But I could be wrong too. Anyone can be misunderstood depending on the situation. That’s why I watched the video over and over again. I don’t know who he is, but if someone like that had been next to me, I would’ve said the exact same thing. I would’ve said, ‘You need a lesson.’ And I probably would’ve added, ‘Where did you learn to act like that?’”
