From POTUS on the Freedom to Vote Act: “Do you want to be…on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?” Not a single Republican senator answers well.

The MT I love is a place where status isn’t measured by mansions or private jets: Wealth doesn’t matter in our public schools, rich people can’t buy wildlife, everyone is equal on public lands, all have stream access and our taxes are fair. Gianforte is dismantling it all. We must fight to get it back.

From the MT Dept of Rev: Gianforte &the R supermajority permanently raised homeowners' taxes by $259 million a year. Why? To cut taxes for monster-sized corporations? #thisaintfair #mtpol

This is part of a pattern of taking Montana-based solutions and selling them to out-of-state corporations. More tax dollars leaving our state to become yachts. Why fortify the local economy when you can simply ship our prosperity to other states eh @GovGianforte #mtpol #mtleg

“The governor’s decision to abandon the local, community-based nonprofits and instead opt for a distant, for-profit Virginia company will close these nonprofits in many cases and harm families across Montana.” -Senate Minority Leader Pat Flowers helenair.com/news/local/care…

The religious right's long-range plan is for the courts (& Republican legislatures) to do to birth control what they've done to abortion rights. Meanwhile, they're on social media, "sowing misinformation as a way to discourage the use of birth control": wapo.st/43uAW9W

If you aren't following Ryan yet, you need to get on board.
Hey @GovGianforte: We need lower taxes, not another government task force. Come home, cut the red tape and give us our money back!

Own your stuff. #MtPol #MtNews The Montana Legislature, with a 2.5B+ surplus raised Montanans property tax. – at Bozeman, MT
Democrats are good about blaming Republicans for "raising property taxes" but I can guarantee they couldn't tell you how much of your tax money is "enough".

A Miami Republican has filed a bill for this year’s legislative session that could allow the state to give $5 million to former President Donald Trump…to pay for legal bills. politico.com/news/2024/01/22…

When it comes to reproductive rights, we must stand strong and stop backsliding.
I will never forget standing in the House chamber the moment Roe was overturned and watching my GOP colleagues jump up to hug and high-five each other. On this would-be 51 yr anniversary of #RoeVWade, we must commit ourselves to stop the backsliding and codify women’s reproductive rights in our nation. I voted to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act in the House, and I’m ready to step up into the Senate and pass it into law.
