This was such a fascinating conversation/article review on the insufficiency of injury definitions and aiming for consistency in research. Key take home point: to start calling players unavailable to practice "bananas" as in "Oh, she's a banana. Yeah out for the week." IYKYK.

I recently had the pleasure of joining @Chris_Juneau3 and @JasonTuoriPT on the @ptinquest podcast.
The first ten minutes or so were a bit of fun, before we got into a discussion of my recent article, “Developing a Fundamental Theoretical Definition for Athletic Injury: Metaphysics, Logic, and Mathematics.”
We covered a range of topics, including definition theory, logical coherence, the relationship between scientific concepts and practical language use, and the challenges of operationalising injury definitions in research and applied sport settings.
A big thank you to Chris and Jason for having me on. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the conversation. I hope others find it interesting.
