Serious question/ if there are (2) Zamboni on the ice at once what do we call that. Zamboni’; Zambonis…..?
Retired military PT, always introduced myself - Hello, I’m Doctor Contreras, your physical therapist. I could have used my rank, but it was more appropriate to use the professional title, especially with civilian clinicians also in the clinic with DPTs

We actually didn't include military in this analysis, because there are so many differences between civilian and military practice.
Good to heae that DPTs are getting such respect in the military setting!
Boy Child - Dad, we should hit up this summer concert. It’s this kick ass band @GreenDay and this other band I like @SmashingPumpkin is opening up.
Me- Thank you for validating that I am not a complete failure as a father.
Taking a short jaunt down to Flo-Rida to open up the 9th Annual Brooks IHL Scholarly Symposium. It’s bout to get hot in Florida, not accountable for any Florida man jokes in my presentation.
Happy to get up today and spend some time with @aaspt_apta @APTAtweets Sports PT members. And no that is not the @SphereVegas it is the actual Sun, about to share 115 degrees with me today.
Engaging PT early is key to MSK care, PTs can do that in in person and virtually to deliver care to our patients. @APTAtweets @Peterson_HTI #physicaltherapy statnews.com/2024/06/06/phti… via @statnews

LT Jamie Fleshman commissioned at APTA CSM today. Great turnout from her Navy peers as well as APTA leadership to include Board President Roger Herr.

I saw a lot of great things at #APTACSM2024 but none as great as a new navy officer being commissioned to serve her shipmates and country as the newest navy PT. Welcome aboard Lieutenant, I hope that we did you and your family and @FederalPT proud on your ceremony. – at Boston, MA
Teeing up for my talk at #APTACSM - so many members of my profession sharing great knowledge and perspective - all I got is #sneakerhead game to share. – at Boston, MA

I often hear from my #PTFAM that @APTAtweets doesn’t do enough, that we can’t win the big fights and our future is in disarray. I do not accept that view- the #valueofPT is clear, everyone including the DOD sees that, do my fellow PTs see it? prnewswire.com/news-releases…

The US News and World Report rankings of physical therapy programs are meaningless. They may have mattered in the past but no student really cares about them now or should care about them.
No program should care either. They’re really just a popularity contest and a vanity.
The primary factors that will influence the decision of applicants to choose a physical therapy program now are affordability/ROI, NPTE pass rates, and employment opportunities post-graduation.
Secondary factors may include location, program culture, clinical rotation opportunities, and quality/prestige of the faculty.
The sooner programs realize this point, the better it will be for the profession.

Arriving in St Louis for the @AAOMPT conference. A lot of opinions on this platform about the current state of manual therapy (and some course offerings). But what I really need to know is- do folks here consider Budweiser a “local beer”?#

Excellent questions. On its own its is useless, but as a tool it is powerful.
I just happen to have a meeting with a politician today interested in how physiotherapy can help prevent ED presentations. This document is pretty handy.
