The new SVB CEO holding a conference call now. They are operating and open for business. New and existing deposits there are completely FDIC insured. Insurance applies for all balances with no caps or limitations and would be immediately available if the bank stops operating.
A banking crisis seemingly averted, we can refocus on the unrelenting & even larger climate crisis. There are amazing folks on the SVB team who have been incredible partners to the climate tech community. I hope they can stay together and move forward in some way as our partners.
