Elon, first of all, thank you. Nobody really ever denied SpaceX’s enormous contribution to Ukraine’s defense, especially during the early days of Russia’s invasion. That deserves recognition.🇺🇦🛰️
But stop twisting the fundamental reality of this war, FFS! Russia invaded Ukraine. Not the other way around. Russia is responsible for starting this slaughter, and Russia can end its invasion by withdrawing its forces.
Ukrainians are defending their homes, their children, and their right to exist. And the recent Starlink and Starshield restrictions reportedly affected Ukrainian drones intercepting Russian attacks, not just offensive operations.
You talk about people dying in trenches and condemn those you call warmongers. But where is that same outrage directed at Putin, whose decision to invade created this catastrophe? Wanting the killing to stop is one thing. Blaming those defending themselves without holding the invader accountable is another.
Yes, you helped Ukraine enormously. Most of us appreciate that. But your past contribution doesn’t make every subsequent statement correct. You know who started this war, Elon. Stop obscuring the difference between invasion and defense bro! Not everyone is as foolish as MAGA cultists you keep trying to appease, for some stupid reason.

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.

Russians at the front confirm, that the US cutting Starshield from Ukraine's frontline defenders is now allowing Russian troops to advance without pressure on their logistics. Ukraine has lost middle range strike abilities inside Ukraine.
This will cost thousands of Ukrainian lives.

russia has run into serious problems with its offensive in Donbas, where its forces have become bogged down.
One of the main reasons was that russian logistics had been crippled by Ukrainian drone strikes. This campaign depended heavily on Starlink terminals operating on high-speed Ukrainian drones.
russian military command identified this as a critical problem and approached the American side, asking it to restrict the speeds at which Starlink terminals could operate.
The argument was simple: there would be little public backlash because the US could still claim that Starlink was operational and that the service was still being provided.
The Trump administration agreed to the restrictions, effectively solving a critical battlefield problem for Russia.
As a result, russian logistics in Donbas are now safer, and Ukraine has lost an important advantage on the battlefield.

Under various disarmament agreements with the US, Ukraine destroyed:
- 60 Tu-22
- 27 Tu-95
- 11 Tu-160 strategic bombers
All together worth around $6 to $8 billion.
We did this because the US asked us to.
Note, that I'm not even mentioning the nuclear arsenal.
This is just one month in Ukraine.
For comparison, 2799 people died on September 11. A global war on terrorism was declared, and those who were responsible were hunted down and killed.
Answering the US call for help, Ukraine deployed 5000 troops and 18 of them died.
⚡️ Russian attacks left 2,433 civilians dead or injured in September, marking an 85% increase compared to last year.

So the story was exactly as people imagined: it was Elon's idea to throttle Starshield, which he then shared with Trump.
Due to the massive backlash and fear of losing business in Europe, the decision was quickly reversed. However, since they didn't want to help Zelenskyy in any way, credit for the reversal was given to former Ukrainian Defence Minister Fedorov, who had previously been dismissed by the Ukrainian president.
The decisions of these two small, greedy men may have cost many Ukrainian soldiers and civilians their lives. An absolute disgrace.
EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

Reuters reports that the order to restrict Ukraine’s Starshield satellite system came from inside the White House. Ukrainian officials say the restrictions slowed interceptor drones used against Russian attacks.
To me, that means the White House now has Ukrainian blood on its hands.
Ukrainian lives were being gambled with. My life was being gambled with, and the lives of reporters, diplomats, mothers and children.
These are real people beneath those drones and ballistics

❗️Last night, the operation of Starlink terminals in Ukraine was restricted.
Connectivity began to drop when moving at speeds exceeding 160 km/h. As a result, a number of critical missions were disrupted.
SpaceX likely took these measures at the request of the Trump administration. Also last night, when Kyiv was attacked by ballistic missiles, Ukraine did not receive intelligence regarding their launch— a failure that could have led to higher casualties.
Ukraine did not attack Russian oil refineries, yet Trump has already begun imposing sanctions on my country. Meanwhile, sanctions against Russia have been eased.

During the press-conference of Presidents Trump and Zelenskyy, explosions sounded in Kyiv as Russia attacked the city for I've lost count how many times today.
There is an air raid alert in Kyiv as I type this.
President Trump keeps saying that Putin wants peace. Putin might be telling that to Trump to stall for time, but his actions speak louder than words. Putin wants to continue the war and does not intend to stop at the moment.
Over the past 24 hours alone, Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least eight people and injured more than 35:
▪️ Dnipropetrovsk region: Four people were killed and 13 others injured. Russian forces struck Dnipro, the Nikopol area, and the Kryvyi Rih district.
▪️ Kherson region: Two people killed, seven more injured. The Russian army targeted Mykilske and Novovorontsovka.
▪️Odesa region: One person was killed and two others were injured.
▪️ Kramatorsk, Donetsk region: One person was killed and two were injured.
▪️Kyiv: Eight people were injured in an evening attack.
▪️ Kharkiv: Four women injured.
President Trump about Ukrainians:
Certainly, they are very good fighters, really. They could be proud of themselves, very, very capable people, very capable leadership.
The press-conference lasted less than 10 minutes, I think. President Trump spoke and answered a few questions but he didn't say anything new.
◾️He said he and President Zelenskyy would discuss the production of Patriot missiles in Ukraine, ways to end the war, air defense for Ukraine during the winter, and Ukrainian strikes on Russian diesel production capabilities.
◾️President Trump repeated several times that he believes Putin wants to end the war.
◾️President Trump repeated his previous statements that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries are impacting diesel prices worldwide (comment from me - that's not exactly accurate).
◾️When asked about the possibility of a war between the UK and Russia (by a UK journalist), Trump said "I think you'll be ok."
◾️Regarding potash from Belarus, he said that the US will continue buying potash from Canada and talked to Belarus to get a lower price from Canada.
