I don’t think people fully understand how much 1 billion is. If your salary was $100k with no tax, it would take you 10 years to become a millionaire, but 10,000 years to reach a billion. It is unethical for one person to be hoarding this much wealth while others cannot eat.

every trans person who feels ugly and not conventionally attractive, i love you. you are load bearing support for a world that is wonderful and beautiful *because* you are in it, and would suffer for your absence. i'm sorry it's so hard.
if anyone is still here that hasn't moved over to bsky: i am going through it. but surviving. finally contending with childhood trauma and i feel like just realizing what i went through and what i've lost is making me insane.
just as hard is watching how cycles have played out in your predecessors and how they are playing out in you. is seeing how our society only adds fuel to every single one of those fires.
