3 months ago, @im_roy_lee dropped out of Columbia to build Cluely.
This weekend @AntonioSitongLi and I (students at Columbia) built Truely — the Anti-Cluely:
An open-source tool that monitors your calls to see if you’re talking to a real person.
One of the wildest facts I’ve learned in class recently:
A (k)-dimensional space can contain exponentially many vectors that are all almost orthogonal.
Not (k).
Not (k^2).
exp(Omega(k))
The Johnson–Lindenstrauss lemma basically says that high-dimensional geometry is way more compressible than your intuition suggests.
Learning this in Algorithms for LLMs at Columbia with Alexandr Andoni and @EdoLiberty has been a lot of fun.

luhhhhhh 🔥 🔥
Nori’s SDKs are now open!
pip install nori-sdk and you can drive a full robot session in minutes.
Python: pypi.org/project/nori-sdk/ github.com/Nori-Robotics/nor…
Typescript: github.com/Nori-Robotics/Nor…
Wire protocol both are conformance tested against: github.com/Nori-Robotics/Nor…
Apache-2.0.

Glad to see Noris in use!
the future of robotics is here @NoriRobotics
"There's so much lag between the science that's continually pushing the envelope on what's possible biologically, and what people are actually benefiting from in the real world."
Our CEO @sahirjaggi joined Chris Bischoff at @generalcatalyst to talk about the problem at the center of Forus: A doctor often knows the right treatment, but it’s so hard to get to the patient that an older, less effective drug becomes the safer choice.
Researchers keep developing better medicines, but treatments don't reach the patients who need them. We’re building the team to close the gap.

At Nori Robotics, we build our robots right here in San Francisco.
Follow along to see what the future of American manufacturing looks like.

I’m attending YC S26 as a Solo Founder
In the next 2 months I have 2 goals:
> Lower the cost of capable robots from 30k to 1k
> Manufacture 100 robots here in San Francisco
if there was a kalshi market on a multi billion series A round, i’d go all in‼️
TOP 1 ROBOTICS COMPANY AOT TOP 2 NOT NUMBER 2 FYM‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
super proud of my good friend @AntonioSitongLi and very bullish on Nori ‼️‼️‼️🎉🎉🎉🎉

We're excited to announce a $4M Seed round led by @GameChangersVC, with support from incredible investors including @scooterbraun, @GuyOseary, @stellation, @SignalFire, @MaCVentureCap, and others.
A few years ago, while hosting community events and testing early products, my co-founders @WeilynChong, @NathanAhn, and I noticed a consistent pattern.
After every event, people asked the same questions:
Where are the photos? Who captured that moment? How do I reconnect with the people I met?

Most evals can tell you when an LLM judge is right, but not when it's silently wrong.
At Forus, our LLM judge reads prior authorization forms and decides whether a patient's medical record supports them. A missed error delays someone's medication.
To catch those failures, we built a way to generate realistic wrong answers and test the judge against them.
Here's how 🧵
