BREAKING: The group behind the MASSIVE “Hands off” protest is now calling for another protest on April 19. In social media posts, the group stated that they want 3.5 percent of the U.S. population—more than 11 million people—to participate. They cite this figure as the threshold for "sustained resistance in order to make a difference." Spread the word!

I’m sure Pete Hegseth REALLY doesn’t want the world to remember when he suggested Hillary Clinton should be “fired on the spot” and criminally prosecuted for mishandling info — so please don’t repost this right this very minute.

Musk was not elected to anything. But he's now calling the shots. "Don't pass a budget that helps farmers, raise the debt ceiling so we can cut taxes for billionaires like me. And blame Democrats. " The blatant "in your face" hypocrisy is the new normal.
Former GOP Rep. @AdamKinzinger on the chaos on Capitol Hill: “President Musk this morning made it clear - with all his vast government experience, which is basically, he became rich on the federal government - that he doesn't want Republicans to pass this. And seemingly, Vice President Trump kind of backed him up at that point. This is going to be a messy 4 years."

For the past 50 years, Israeli officials have failed to restrain a violent settler movement targeting Palestinians. It has been allowed to operate with few consequences, and some of its most extreme members are now in government. Read our investigation: nyti.ms/3QK0Ukv

Call for Papers: Online and Blended Learning in the Age of Generative AI Aras Bozkurt, Anadolu University, Türkiye Haesol Bae, University at Albany, State University of New York, USA The advent of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has ignited considerable excitement, largely attributed to its ability to generate original content through natural language processing (NLP) and comprehensive language models (LLM). The main reason for this excitement is the potential of generative AI to comprehend and produce human language in a similar manner to a human being, considered one of the most intricate and advanced systems in existence (Bozkurt, 2023). Given this, we cannot ignore, resist, or deny the continuous influence of generative AI technologies. The capacity of these generative AI agents to employ human language for communication, interaction, and crafting human-like responses suggests a potential shift in the prevailing educational paradigm. Given the implications of AI for education, the Online Learning Journal, OLC’s flagship academic publication, is seeking papers on generative AI. We will consider both theoretical and empirical contributions, provided they exhibit rigorous research, critical thinking, and innovative insights. Extended abstracts are due November 17, 2023 and the full call for submissions can be found on the OLJ website here. 👇 olj.onlinelearningconsortium…

Incredible speech here...
To my Republican colleagues who introduced this sham resolution: You honor me with your enmity. You flatter me with this falsehood. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful.

If anyone received an award for cinematography in 2021 they should give it back, because the proper recipient is whoever was remotely operating this Senate floor camera feed on Jan. 6. From a newly released court exhibit, in the Bruna Cua case:

Here was the end of what turned out to be Tucker Carlson's final Fox News show last Friday. Certainly no indication that he didn't expect to be on the air tonight. In fact Tucker's final words are, "we'll be back on Monday."
