OK, joke's over. Like many friends and colleagues, I've concluded that I can't, in all conscience, continue to endorse a platform that has become so dark and poisonous. I'll be closing this account soon but you'll still find me on IG (and maybe elsewhere before long!)
♥️😢👋
Indebted to @BBCOne 1pm TV report on @QuincyDJones' sad passing for revealing that Off The Wall made @michaeljackson a star. I mean, who remembers any of his previous solo smash hits or his years with the world-conquering Jackson 5?😠
Always a thrill to write liner notes for @RollingStones this time for Welcome To Shepherd's Bush, out Dec 6 + featuring the brilliant club date I saw in '99. "Twenty-five years later, the crossfire hurricane that blew across London that night roars again" bit.ly/3C3vvVu
On Nov 21st, @philmanzanera and I will be on stage @soundloungeCIC talking about his fascinating memoir Revolución to Roxy (I know, I've just finished reading it). You can ask Phil a question and get him to sign your copy! Tickets bit.ly/3NsUDHF youtube.com/watch?v=BmOdcvXA…
This is glorious. Can't wait for the album.

Digging this new tune by our pal @peterbruntnell previewing the album Houdini and the Sucker Punch, out on Oct 4th. And I wouldn’t be a proper @soundloungeCIC patron if I didn’t mention Peter’s gig with his band at the SL on Sat Dec 14th, can’t wait! open.spotify.com/track/5nHPi…
