Mr. Syed, 41, had been serving a life sentence for the 1999 murder of his high school classmate Hae Min Lee. The judge gave prosecutors 30 days to proceed with a new trial or drop the case.

I’ve used a common laundry room in NYC ~2x a week for 12+ years. Today might have been the first time I saw a man in a laundry room. Definitely the first Boomer man. Struck by how surprised I was by the encounter. (Funny enough, he couldn’t find his load to put in the dryer…)

My extended family has been thrown into a hellish nightmare. My nephew and his wife, who live in Boston, just had their two sons taken from them in the middle of the night by CPS. Their sons are 6 months old, and 3 1/2. A baby and a toddler, the baby still nursing.
