We have a need for an enlightened, watchful articulate opposition. We have no need for semi-secret societies who are absolutist, dictatorial and would substitute for a rule of law and reason an indiscriminate assault on the institutions that must be held sacrosanct. Rod Serling

âThey saw wild horses racing on the plain, pounding their shadows down the night and leaving in the moonlight a vaporous dust like the palest stain of their passing.â
-Cormac McCarthy, All the Pretty Horses
Perhaps no image is more evocative of the American West, or of the unbridled freedom this vast and wild country came to represent in the modern world, than a band of horses galloping unrestrained across a dusty and desolate landscape. Free from the fences and fevered misfortunes of man - a spirit unbroken and unbound.
A land where mustangs can live as they were meant to be is a place that still holds dreams and promise for the human soul. It points to something elemental in our nature that we should always preserve and protect. We honor ourselves when let the wild horses have their way.
A man who canât see that, or worse, feel it, has no business running this country.
Even Richard Nixon, who signed the Wild Free-Roaming Horses Act in 1971 spoke of wild horses as having an âindomitable spirit and sheer energyâ that enriches the American spirit while invoking the wisdom of Henry David Thoreau, âwe need the tonic of wildness.â
At present, under the Trump administration, the Bureau of Land Management is rounding up wild horses by the thousands, at a substantial cost to the American taxpayer, and selling them for a paltry twenty-five dollars a head to unscrupulous horse traders who are using a loophole in our federal laws (by reselling them to middle men brokers and in doing so changing the animalsâ status from that of a protected species to livestock).â noelcasler.substack.com/p/wiâŚ

The Social Security surplus, intentionally built up since 1982, is being depleted sooner than they thought back then because of income inequality.

đ¨đ¨The Trump Crime Family is more corrupt than the totality of All Previous Organized Crime Families Combined in the history of the United States.
âââââââââââââââ
I spent thirty (30 years investigating Major Organized Crime Families & Gangs and without a doubt, Donald Trump has committed more crimes against the United States of America and its citizens than all Organized Crime Syndicates.
TRUMP is directly responsible for the theft of billions of dollars and the systematic destruction of our economy, the rule of law and our democracy.
TRUMP must be Impeached and Removed from office by the U.S. Congress this year. Both Democrats & Republicans must join together to save our nation.

We now know the Iran war price tag is more like $50 billion - hundreds of dollars per household - and counting.
It's enough to cover all the health insurance premium credits that the Republicans got rid of for this year, and next. It could save rural hospitals, pay teachers, fix roads.
Don't let this White House insult your intelligence by blowing your money on war, then saying America can't afford nice things.

Re-upping for obvious reasons (saw a post that said Howard Lutnickâs sons self-dealing on Trump Tariff debt wasnât being covered-this is from early April), link to subscribe to âNoelâs Notesâ: open.substack.com/pub/noelcaâŚ
âAs I have tried to warn people many times before, the Trump family motto is basically, âFuck you, stop meâ.
It is of course not limited to Trump, the self-dealing extends to his Cabinet as well.
When you consider all of the economic arbitrage from this illegal war in Iran and Trumpâs disastrous tariff policies, donât sleep on the fact that Howard Lutnickâs sons, who took over for him to run Cantor Fitzgerald when he joined the administration as Commerce Secretary, began buying up tariff-related debt for pennies on the dollar a year ago, when their father helped put these trade policies in place.
How much money will they make by gobbling up distressed assets now that Trump is tanking the global economy due to rising oil prices? Especially in Southeast Asian markets; the hotels, tech companies and manufacturing businesses that are now suffering due to soaring energy costs may find themselves in the portfolios of these unscrupulous scions.
This is akin to a global shakedown at the hands of a single mafia family (Russian ties notwithstanding, Putin is benefiting immensely, as he always seem to do under Trumpâs policies) destroying the worldâs economy to benefit their own profit margins.
The human suffering caused by it all doesnât even register to them.
Howard Lutnick already proved himself quite immune from empathy in his many years of looking the other way for his next door neighbor, Jeffrey Epsteinâs sex-trafficking operation; continuing to do business with him and travel to his private island.
Not to mention Lutnickâs total lack of empathy and compassion in the days after 9/11, when he stopped the paychecks for his 658 employees who had perished in the horrific terrorist attacks. The twenty five years since have only calloused a cold heart further.
If you want Trump to stop sending troops to Iran you have to make him a better offer.
He is transactional and the only thing he is concerned with is his own self-interest. Our enemies understand this and our allies do now as well. The more money that this war makes for those on the inside of this administration, and his inner circle at Mar-a-Lago, the longer it will last and the greater the toll will be for Iran and American forces.
They do not care about the consequences of their actions - and so far there hasnât been any of real significance. We must change that and demand accountability.â open.substack.com/pub/noelcaâŚ

Let me walk you through what happened one hour before Trump announced the five day moratorium on Iran strikes.
$1.5 billion in notional S&P E-mini futures contracts. Four to six times normal activity.
One hour before the announcement.
Simultaneously, $192 million in crude oil futures purchased at the same time.
They made between $300 and $400 million dollars off those trades.
Trump claimed he spoke to an Iranian official to negotiate the moratorium.
The Iranians said that person doesn't exist and the conversation never happened.
This is not the first time.
It has happened multiple times. He says something. The trade goes on. He says another thing. The market moves.
But whatever you call it â they are laughing at you and they are laughing at me while they do it.
Hunter Biden sold a painting and Washington lost its mind.
These people are making hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars trading on information that only exists inside the most powerful office in the world.
I think we are dramatically underreporting how much money is actually being made here.
This isn't politics anymore.
This is a financial operation running out of the White House.

âThere was a bald eagle in my backyard yesterday - I took it as a sign.
As a nation (and much of the world beyond it) gathered in protest on a chilly day at the end of March, Donald Trump woke up in his Palm Beach mansion and thought about playing golf and how much more money he could make from the Iran war. And how successful he has been over the last month in distracting the news media from his role in Jeffrey Epsteinâs sex trafficking operation.
Trump didnât think about the dangers we face as a nation, the dysfunction and disaster at our airports or the lives lost in the Middle East. As has been the case every day of his self-centered and destructive life, he woke up and thought about himself and his own financial interests.
Then he presumably shuffled down to the omelette bar in his usual Benzoed stupor and began the circus of self-aggrandizement, substance abuse and geriatric coddling our mad king so desperately craves and requires to function, aka âExecutive Timeâ.
This was after speaking at a Saudi Investment Forum in Miami on Friday afternoon; undoubtably some of the wealthy tycoons in attendance (along with Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff) were also at the MAGA, Inc. fundraiser Trump hosted at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night. He hosts these dinners most weekends now, as there is no limit to his grifting and abuse of the office of the presidency to fill his own coffers.
As if it wasnât bad enough (or as on the nose as it gets - as to whom his administration is really serving, POTUS seems to allocate more of his schedule to Saudi royals, and representatives of its Public Investment Fund, than hours in the Oval Office) that he spends millions of taxpayer dollars to enjoy three day weekends without interruption, Trump uses these golf vacations as a way to further fleece both the American economy and the world at large.âopen.substack.com/pub/noelcaâŚ

âTrumpâs âwork weeksâ in DC are nothing more than managed care for an almost octogenarian drug addict, replete with made-for-TV cabinet meetings and golden baubles such as the inaugural âAmerica Firstâ award that House Speaker Mike Johnson presented him this week, where his sycophantic lieutenants slather praise on their idiotic and out to lunch boss over his every ill-informed action.
It is perhaps the best example of how broken Trump is as a human being that he sits there luxuriating in the insanity and accepting such counterfeit accolades; all while refusing to address in any meaningful way the multiple crises our nation faces in this moment. All of which, of course, he himself started.
When I worked on âCelebrity Apprenticeâ the producers would advise the contestants to praise Donald Trump in their phony âboardroomâ meetings to increase their chances of victory. He was in his sixties at that point and still needed made up adulation and constant flattery to make himself feel better and those around him were sadly only too happy to oblige.
Donald also used these occasions to essentially shake down the celebrity contestants by asking them to call up their wealthy friends and cajole them âon airâ into making donations to the charity they were playing for on that weekâs episode.
Often he would make the boisterous proclamation that the Trump Organization would match the funds raised, which of course they never did, and NBC would have to follow up for renumeration so the worthy causes wouldnât get short changed.
It was a great example of both his fraudulent nature and his pathological mendacity - and it earned him ratings gold and the acquiescence of the network brass; the same execs he would lavish with free rooms at his Las Vegas hotels during sweeps week promotions. You can easily guess at what other perks and kompromat arose from those unethical transactions.
What he was essentially doing was looking for future marks for his own grift.â open.substack.com/pub/noelcaâŚ
