A new version of the extension has been submitted to Google for review. Once approved it will automatically update and fix the issues with the price history not always displaying. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We're aware of an issue where the price history doesn't always display and are currently working on a fix. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Apologies to anyone who tried to download the extension this morning and experienced an error. Download will now work from the Chrome store.
Thank you to everyone who has been submitting relistings to us, we really appreciate it. Whilst we are still finding the majority ourselves there are lots which are just impossible to link up without local knowledge (number of bedrooms changing etc) so thank you!
Price changes on the same listing (where the Rightmove ID doesn't change) get picked up automatically. Relistings have to be manually curated before any price history is merged. There are thousands of properties to check every day so we apologise if a few get missed.
Observations when curating 1500+ potential relistings daily:
- Noticeable increase in the amount of empty homes for sale
- Significant increase in properties that were once for sale now going to auction
- Fewer mentions of "potential rental yields", "investment opportunity" etc
Another big day of reductions and relistings (AKA switching agent for one of many reasons, sale falling through or trying to hide a price reduction).
New version of the extension was released this morning to fix a couple of issues. It will automatically update for you so you don't need to do anything 👍
We're aware of the price history not displaying on the "Saved properties" page. We're working on a fix for this so please bear with us.
Wonder what the story is here with such a massive drop in such a short space of time. Link: rightmove.co.uk/properties/1…
Agents must been extremely busy this week. Standard reductions at all time highs (on existing listings) but the number of relistings each day was nuts.
This might be an interesting stat for some on here! Out of the last 5000 relisted properties:
53% had a price lower than the old listing
38% had the same price
9% had a price increase
The number of daily reductions remains high (no surprise there) but the number of relistings this week is extremely high. Merging the old price history into the new listing is very time consuming so please bear with us. Should have some interesting stats to share later this week!
Yet another example of where the agent has deleted the old listing (link is the new listing): rightmove.co.uk/properties/1…
Thankfully with Property Log we can show the old history.
