Brandon Johnson’s electoral coalition is officially dead with this endorsement. His campaign is nearly broke and it is rumored that his petitions are in a shambles. This raises serious viability questions. chicagotribune.com/2026/10/2…
Mayor Johnson did not file petitions today. Rumor is his signatures are mostly paid for. There will be a serious challenge to the Mayor’s petitions and the possibility that he doesn’t make the ballot. Brandon didn’t even want to run for reelection. Stacey made him do it.
