Thanks @morton_emm :-) Though I don't think as a drummer I could come at BASSIST as an acronym...
I assumed @profrnb was trying to sneak in a another cheeky music reference into his acronym on psychological treatment targets for #bipolardisorder with BASSIST 🎸 - but BD ASSISTERS is just as good.

I'm creating a training video on multilevel modeling, any favorite resources/tools for exploring fixed vs. random slopes conceptually and/or how to determine when random slopes are beneficial? I'll start, I frequented mfviz.com/hierarchical-model… to reorient myself to random effects

Opportunity: Sea change in mental health research and practice - the field is finally recognising the central role of the ‘person’ and not just the disorder. Thought provoking and invigorating talk by @profrnb #ASBDD22 @ASBDD_EMCR
Its only taken 2 years to get to an issue, but I think its an apt time to tweet 🧵about our paper in Psychological Medicine on familial liability to emotion regulation difficulties in bipolar disorder tinyurl.com/598a5yj8 with @kamillawm @profrnb @RossellSusan

Insightful keynote at #ASBDD22 from @profrnb talking abt the need to rethink how we think about (and evaluate) psychological intervention (inc #digital) - bring a complex intervention lens. Great further rationale for our approach @MarioAlvarezJi1 @orygen_aus
Threats: Evaluation paradigm fit-for-purpose. Being nieve to tmt is key to pharma RCTs, but not psychotherapies. Psychological interventions are fundamentally different - why are we using the same methodology? is the answer in complex intervention evaluation? #ABSDD22 @profrnb
Will this be the game-changer in Australian #bipolar research and practice? Thrilled to be working with this gang @SwinburneAlumni @Swinburne @CREST_BD @DrTomRichardson
