It's so awful in these febrile times to know so many don't know what febrile means.

Q: You said that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. Why not? North Korea can have nuclear weapons. Trump: Ahh because you had a different president. Kim Jong un. He's a friend of mine. He likes Trump. I like him. As long as I’m around, he’s going to be fine. You know why? He respects me.

Trump is on Putin’s side; always was.
Trump just blocked the transfer of 3,000 critical air-to-surface missiles to Ukraine. If Trump is not a Russian agent, he is certainly acting like one. His decisions are helping prolong this senseless war and leaving Ukrainian civilians more vulnerable to Russian attacks.

British Prime Minister points the finger at Iran over Fairford air base incident
New: Andy Burnham confirms the UK government believes the Iranian state was involved in the Fairford airbase incident Asked by the @ChrisMasonBBC whether a foreign actor was involved, Burnham says: “We believe so. There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford, but of course it remains an ongoing, complex and serious police investigation.” “Of course, we are working closely with our colleagues in the United States of America,” he added. “We can confirm our belief that we believe Iran to have played a part.” Bloomberg and others reported on Tuesday that investigators considered a plot involving Iranian proxies as the most likely explanation for the incident. Burnham was also asked why the men were bailed given the apparent severity of the incident. The PM indicated they had not been released under bail typical conditions. “I think people need to understand that, you know, when it says ‘released,’ that isn’t as people might think. It’s obviously with the strictest possible bail conditions.” Pressed on whether they had been released, Burnham said: “The authorities have this under, as I say, the strongest grip and the closest control, and I can assure you of that.” He added that UK officials had spoken to US counterparts to explain the circumstances of their release. “I have complete confidence in the way British security services are handling this.”

Surely, now that the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia Act has been approved by both the Senate and the House, Trump will impose tougher sanctions on Russia and countries that buy its fossil fuels? Well, according to The Atlantic, he now wants to partially lift sanctions in exchange for a prisoner swap. If he’s not Agent Krasnov, he’s certainly trying hard to become one.

And keep in mind that the real amount is far more.
Moscow will spend $202 billion on defense next year, 27% more than was initially planned. Does this look like a country preparing for peace?

More than half of Ukraine's F-16 fighter jets are currently not operational due to maintenance delays in Belgium – WSJ A significant number of the fighter jets remain grounded due to a lack of spare parts and the need for more frequent repairs following intensive use. Given the current pace of maintenance and repairs, Ukraine risks losing its remaining operational F-16s by the end of the year, the newspaper reports. Reasons – the West was caught napping again: Shortage of spare parts: Specific components are missing. Many of the donated jets come from older European stocks (Netherlands, Denmark, etc.). Some aircraft arrived incomplete. Capacity bottleneck at a single maintenance facility. Structural issue: Depot- and intermediate-level maintenance for F-16s is located in the West, not in Ukraine itself. Proposals therefore focus on expanding Ukrainian capabilities or utilizing facilities in Romania.

What Trump wants most of all is to lift sanctions on Russia. We know this because it's what Putin wants most of all.
Trump has new ideas on how to destroy Western democracies even faster. He advocates easing sanctions on Russia in exchange for the release of political prisoners – The Atlantic. The initiative is still in the planning stage. The US had previously pursued a similar approach regarding Belarus. According to the report, such a move could: facilitate Russia’s reintegration into the global economy; expand Trump’s negotiations with the Kremlin beyond the war; open up opportunities for lucrative deals in the energy and commodities sectors for the US; boost Trump’s chances of winning the Nobel Peace Prize through the release of political prisoners.

Russia again threatens NATO with nuclear strikes, this time if NATO "attempts to cut off Kaliningrad," which translates into normal English as "if they dare to defend the Baltic states from Russian aggression." They are an unhinged mad beast, and wht do we do with a mad beast?
