It’s true that “X is warming faster than the global mean” is almost never interesting, since land warms more than water. But it’s not just “warming faster” due to heat capacity. Even at equilibrium land warming is more than the ocean warming, especially the more dry the land is.

I have a theory for why I couldn't find a single publication on this list. @MatthewWielicki, a self-proclaimed "earth science expert," used ChatGPT to write the entire tweet for him. He did not verify the sources before tweeting. That, or he completely made everything up.

Updated to be smaller and more user-friendly. Moved the VM OS from Debian to Alpine Linux (cut the download size from ~2GB to ~1GB). A lightweight map tile server has been incorporated into the VM app so that a network connection is no longer needed. tinyurl.com/wattsbuster-app
