The obligation applies to *individuals* if they receive $10k+ in the course of their trade or business, not just "businesses." So, if I'm a miner (even as an individual) I'm covered. Also, if I'm a day trader (even as an individual) I'm covered. If I'm an NFT artist it would also cover me even if I don't have an incorporated business, etc. Again, it is not just "businesses" that must comply but individuals too if they receive the funds in the course of their trade or business. That all said, what constitutes "trade or business"? Well, it's not exactly clear from Treasury guidance to date. No clear bright line rule that I can find. We point this out in our lawsuit: And also in the report we published a while back:

Would be a regulatory headache, but interesting to see if it could be implemented. No one is paying $50 transaction fees to trade stocks on $ETH. Why would I, when I can trade from my brokerage account with fees of $0? But on $SOL, transaction fees ARE essentially $0.
🚨BREAKING BIG : @JupiterExchange Co-founder just hinted that soon you will be able to trade stocks, forex, and commodities all in one place on Jupiter Exchange

BTW, a Solana coin backed by a stock or ETF would be better sound money than Bitcoin. Let that sink in.

Know which assets you are TRADING. Know in which assets you are INVESTING. $JUP is for investing, degens. Its price may fluctuate (up or down) in the short-term. Do not let this distract you. Be patient. HODL.

I can't wait until AI can do my crypto tax returns.
in the next couple of years, someone will release a free AI capable of doing 95% of all US tax returns it will decimate the tax prep industry, and then the gov will finally simplify the tax code (which has only been kept onerously complex because of tax industry lobbying)

The below remains my view regardless of whether @solana spot price today is $70, $90, $100 or $140
IMO, the worst-case scenario for $SOL this cycle is x2 from here to around its previous ATH market cap. Not a wild prediction considering the amount of $USD inflation we have had since $SOL ATH. The best-case scenario is $SOL flipping $ETH, and that's potentially x12 or more.

Banana Miner is good for one thing only. Take a look at the accounts shilling it. Never trust them again.

People in this space are too nervous. The Fed is about to airdrop tons of liquidity, which will immediately flow into risky assets. What do you think will happen to crypto, esp. now that investing in BTC will become stupid-easy via ETFs? Relax. Invest. HODL.
