They are essentially saying that the unwashed masses are not allowed to have their own opinions about their elite friends
JD Greear and everybody else echoing rhetoric like this today are saying âyouâre not allowed to theologically disagree with Jen Wilkin because sheâs incredibly popular and sheâs my friendâ
Thatâs not how Christianity works.
You, yes, you, and I, and others are allowed to test the public teaching ministry of any self-professed Christian teacher, and weigh it according to Godâs Word.
And we can use public forums to voice concerns about incredibly popular Bible teachers.
@MichelleDLesleyâs article was fair, it was brief, it was a public flag being thrown on the ministry of a public teacher, saying âwatch out, Jen Wilkin isnât really the complementarian that she claims to be.â

Christians, last week I posted an article exhorting us all to stop being gullible. Today is a good day to revisit that subject.
The President posted a serious video about election integrity, which was a screen recording. The video was one minute long. At the very end, the video of the Obamas looking like monkeys popped up for one second before the screen recording was stopped, and that ending was not edited out.
Find the original post and watch the whole thing. It was OBVIOUSLY an editing error. Whoever recorded it did a sloppy job editing and they've created a lot of unnecessary drama. But to take this as smoking gun evidence of Trump's unhinged racism is absurd.
Yes, the White House needs to have tighter controls on this sort of thing to avoid embarrassing debacles like this. That said, it's also embarrassing how many people were quick to go online and issue their denouncements of Trump's "racist" and "deranged" post.
So I'll say it again. Christians, stop being gullible.

Tomas Escotto, a current U.S. Secret Service agent on Vice President JD Vanceâs protective detail, was recorded on hidden camera providing an undercover journalist with sensitive security information, including protective formations, shift schedules, travel plans, & real-time locations.
The Secret Service agent detailed how the Vice President is physically surrounded, described multiple daily shift changes, & disclosed advance security procedures.
In addition to past movements, the agent revealed future travel plans, sometimes days in advance. Escotto even sent images from Air Force Two while onboard with the Vice President.
Despite acknowledging that he signed paperwork prohibiting the disclosure of sensitive information, the Secret Service agent repeatedly shared details with someone he believed was a casual romantic interest.
While the safety of the Vice President and his family was always our top priority, what OMG uncovered raises serious questions about operational security, protocol compliance, and oversight within the U.S. Secret Service.
Our team coordinated with the U.S. Secret Service ahead of publication, redacted sensitive operational details at their request.
We were just informed Tomas Escotto has been placed on administrative leave with his clearance suspended and access to agency facilities and systems revoked.
