Only 17.3% of newly launched apps hit $1,000 in monthly revenue within their first two years, and freemium apps convert at just 2.1% by day 35 [RevenueCat, State of Subscription Apps 2026]. AI makes that equation harder when every interaction has a cost.
Commerce changes the math.
McKinsey estimates agentic commerce, where AI can move from recommendation to transaction, could account for $3–5T globally by 2030 [McKinsey, Mar 2026].
Most of that conversation is happening in retail. But wellness, fitness, productivity and everyday life are full of decisions that can move from intelligence → action → commerce.
