Trump & Republicans’ attacks on women’s health are making it harder for women to get the reproductive care they need in all corners of our country. I met with doctors from @prhdocs to hear how they're adapting to these new barriers.

🚨🚨🚨OUTRAGEOUS: Less than a week after a judge struck down Georgia’s deadly six-week abortion ban, the state’s Supreme Court has put a hold on that decision, which will allow the ban to go BACK INTO EFFECT at 5:00 pm today, while they prepare to hear the state’s appeal.

Abortion bans don’t save lives, they endanger them. They don’t exist to protect; they exist to control, exploit, and ultimately harm. And let’s be clear- these bans harm EVERYONE, from patients to providers & everyone caught in the ripple of reproductive oppression.

This is absolutely devastating. Amber Thurman waited 20 hours for doctors to finally operate on her spreading infection, sinking blood pressure, and failing organs. By then, it was too late. If she had access to timely care, she would still be here. Abortion bans kill people.

They interrogated me, charged me, arrested me, disrupted my education and turned my whole life upside down. Let's be clear. Abortion bans & restrictions at any point in pregnancy are cruel, coercive and a violation of people’s reproductive health and bodily autonomy. Using gestational age as a legal cutoff for abortion care is harmful at any stage of pregnancy.
