I got jealous of the frontier labs and their agent swarms... so I've been playing with creating my own on a much smaller scale.
Today I'm open sourcing agent-horde, it's a coordination protocol for small agent swarms, and the pi extension that runs it. I use this heavily in my personal projects including for security research and OSINT investigations.
It works remarkably well and allows for someone with a low budget to observe how swarms coordinate at a small scale and where they fail.
Users can launch a horde of up to 12 agents that coordinate on a task (horde of hordes coming soon). The agents coordinate on a markdown based ledger that is browsable via a human readable dashboard. Every run records an interactive timeline of events.

Hearing from the rumor mill: a frontier lab is preparing to release a new model that is better than their old model. In response, other frontier labs are reportedly releasing new models that are better than their old models. One of these will be the best. It may be a surprise.

Chinese hackers used DeepSeek + Claude Code to breach 100+ companies.
but forgot to put passwords on their own agent dashboards. so researchers found 20 exposed dashboards and could literally watch the agents work.
we’re literally in the age of autonomous 24/7 vibe hacking.
HOLY WTF. Reuters is reporting that a Chinese-speaking hacker used AI agents to compromise websites belonging to more than 100 companies, including Deere, SharkNinja and Cummins, after attempting intrusions against over 1,200 sites.
The estimated cost: roughly $5,000 in AI tokens, or $50 per successful breach. Successful intrusions took around 23 hours on average.
The attackers used the open-source Cairn agent framework, apparently combining DeepSeek models with a Claude Code harness. One campaign gave its agents instructions in fewer than 100 Chinese characters.

Bugün yoğun bakımdaki babaannemi ziyarete gittim. Oradayken Claude Opus 5.5 kullanarak hastabaşı monitörüne Doom portladım. Oyundaki can yüzdesini hastanın nabzına senkronize ettim; can 0’a düşerse nabız da sıfıra düşer. Bu da oyunu daha heyecanlı hale getiriyor.
I paid $10 to boost my agent-horde announcement for one day. It's the pinned post on my profile. Here are the results. I only got one like and it was organic. Needless to say, I will not be boosting anymore of my posts. Meanwhile, if you're interested in playing with agent swarms at a small scale... check out agent-horde:

I shipped some bug fixes yesterday.

changing from .ai to .si under trump is like putting your pronouns into your bio under biden
It's possible that the reason it's against TOS to bully Claude is because they don't want that tone in the training data vs protecting Claude's feelings.
It's incredible what a detailed prompt can achieve on local hardware.
This is MiniMax H3 T2V. I used the demo workflow in ComfyUI and had Deepseek help me write a detailed prompt....
Realistic live-action cinematic look, black-and-white noir horror: high-contrast monochrome film photography with elements of yellow highlights, cyberpunk decay meets scratchy cinema reel, backlit and side lit like a surreal set, heavy 35mm film grain and silver-halide texture, deep crushed blacks, blown-out practical highlights, shallow depth of field, thick volumetric fog and storm spray.
Scene overview: a cyborg kitten, adorable, trots through luminescent puddles on a cold night, dodging footsteps. Its fur is patchy, half organic and half exposed chrome plating, one eye a wet organic orb and the other a flickering yellow lens iris, a thin cable tail trailing behind it, small servo joints clicking at the shoulders and hips, steam venting faintly from its ribs. It moves with unsettling grace — too smooth, too deliberate for something so small. The footsteps belong to something enormous, unseen, off-frame above; each one lands with a bass thud that ripples the puddles. Implied horror over explicit gore, practical body-horror feel, wet organic textures, no text anywhere.
Storyboard (low tracking shots, rapid cuts on the beats):
[0s-2.5s] Shot 1: ground-level tracking shot: the cyborg kitten trots through a luminescent puddle, reflection rippling beneath it, chrome paws clicking on wet stone, yellow lens eye flickering, fog crawling past, a distant yellow neon glow behind it.
[2.5s-5s] Shot 2: hard cut, side angle: an enormous boot lands just behind the kitten, water and light bursting outward, the shockwave knocking the kitten briefly off balance, its cable tail whipping for balance, servo whine rising.
[5s-7.5s] Shot 3: low front angle: the kitten darts forward, dodging a second footfall, ears flat, patchy fur and chrome plating catching the yellow highlights, one organic eye wide, the lens eye stuttering and refocusing.
[7.5s-10s] Shot 4: overhead shot: the kitten weaving between the legs of the unseen giant, puddles rippling in rings around each step, its small shadow stretching long across the wet ground, fog swirling up around it.
[10s-12.5s] Shot 5: tight close-up: the kitten pauses, looks straight up at the camera, steam venting from its ribs, jaw opening slightly to reveal a row of small chrome teeth and something wet moving behind them, yellow lens eye flaring bright.
[12.5s-15s] Shot 6: pull back to wide: the kitten continues trotting away into the fog down the alley, the giant's footsteps thudding behind it, yellow neon glare bleeding through the haze, then a hard frame jitter and fade to black on the last beat.
Camera: ground-level tracking shots, each cut clean and hard and locked to the beat, subtle handheld float, gate weave and film grain, motion blur on the fast dodges, a hard frame jitter as the kitten looks up at 10s.
Audio: rain and dripping water, distant thunder, low sub-bass thud on each giant footstep, soft clicking servo and steam hiss from the kitten, faint high-pitched mewl that glitches slightly at the edges, a rising metallic whine into the close-up, cutting to a single low sub-bass hit and near-silence on the fade to black.
No text, subtitles, logos or watermarks of any kind, no animation or cartoon rendering, no overly-CG look, keep the live-action texture and practical body-horror feel. Implied horror over explicit gore.
Local LLM inferencemaxxing is great and everything, but peformance of these new engines and quants that drop daily is super opaque. Benchmarks suck and aren't standardized. I like to see who's building what cool stuff with these local setups.

Just gave it the following prompt:
"make a generative art piece in the style of @prettyblocks, a single html file with javascript - generative animated interactive svg."
It found my work using web_search and cooked at >100t/s to come up with this in minutes.
Does it pass the vibe check?
