Nerdy SID question Since Texas and Oklahoma always play at a neutral site, do the two schools spilt game management duties? Do you rotate year to year? My desire for unimportant information is getting the best of me

Greg for the Win #nothingbutnet
To sum up the two big stories going through SID Twitter/X: maybe we can have the AI SIDs and AI trainers and AI event staff run all the spring men’s soccer games.

More athletic communications and athletic training jobs now open. And likely won’t be filled.
DI Cabinet approves proposal that would move men's soccer to a two-semester playing season. Because it passed with less than 75% of the vote, the proposal will now go to a 30-day rescission period, during which eligible DI schools or conferences can submit a vote to defeat the new rule. If two-thirds of the eligible members do not vote to defeat it, it will subsequently take effect. The Cabinet's vote is not final until its meeting concludes later today.

#curmudgeonpost How will they ever survive? #sarcasm
Due to the power failure at Florida State, there will be no coach to player communication and no iPads on the sideline. That sucks for two programs that have practiced for this moment with those things. But tough to push game back a day and give SMU short turnaround for wk2

All of this Michigan controversy would be solved if football adopted soccer’s timekeeping method where the game ends whenever the referee arbitrarily decides it’s over

And here in Texas they cancel school if there is a half inch of snow...and January & February days in the lower-50s are considered cold. So it's all kinda a tie.
This is wild. We’ve got WIAC & UMAC schools moving their kickoff times to the evening due to “extreme heat”. The high in Platteville is 86° on Saturday 😂
