For the one millionth time, can the codex app stop sending my app shots (cmd + cmd) to a new chat all the time. I want to send the app shot to the current open thread and not a new chat. The amount of times this has frustrated me is enough for me to get a reset lol @thsottiaux

Today I learned: Apple doesn’t allow microphone access in iOS share extensions. Real bummer for this idea I’m working on.

I started to see things from this lens recently and it changes everything. It steers up the consciousness that you can literally design the life that you want. It’s your full responsibility.
My life got a lot better when I viewed every problem as a skill issue. Out of shape? Skill issue. Ugly bank account? Skill issue. Anxious thoughts? Skill issue. I affirmed to myself these would go away if I got better. And magically, they did, once “I” did.

LLMs are good at what LLMs are good at. So it makes sense to always lean towards them for things they are really good at, that are their strengths.

this is just something I try to reinforce because many times I would have proceeded with going about myself trying to fine-tune stuff that an LLM would just excel at, even with all the wrong arrangements in it.

so there's no need for me to be optimizing for something that is not even a problem to the AI.

My learning about landing pages can be summarised into this: dead simple first version, ship it, learn, refine. Much better than turning the first version into a monument.

landing pages are downstream of product clarity. Early obsession can still teach you taste, messaging, and craft, but it becomes dangerous when it creates attachment before you have enough truth.

A landing page early on is usually not “the thing.” It is a temporary expression of your current understanding of the thing. And because your understanding is still shallow at the beginning, the page naturally becomes outdated fast.

The trap is that you can spend weeks polishing copy, layout, positioning, and visuals before the product has taught you what actually matters. Then, when your understanding catches up, you look back and realize the page was mostly confidence, not clarity.

The better loop is: - Get the rough first version out. - Let the product and users teach you. - Notice what people respond to. - Rewrite the page from a clearer place. - Keep treating it as alive, not sacred.

Finally got bitten by the @convex bug. After 2hrs and 2.7m tokens I've moved my largest project off Supabase. As I'm building more across the agentic stack, using Convex just makes much more sense and I'm excited to give it a try.
