Dan Quinn is a defensive-minded head coach. Had good defenses elsewhere. Yet he calls in Wilks to mentor and help Jones? This is classic CEO behavior to call in consultants to cover their own ass. Ridiculous.
The #Commanders have hired Steve Wilks to work with the defensive coaches under Dan Quinn and Daronte Jones, per me and @RapSheet. The decision to hire Wilks was made last month. He started last week. Wilks will help with game planning. He won't be with the team on game days.

The @NFL has an officiating problem. Too many judgement calls change games. @Commanders got robbed. Awful call. But no repercussion. Move on. It’s terrible and the NFL doesn’t seem to embrace change and technology.

Time for the marketing team @OpenAI to get to work 😆🤦🏽‍♂️

The @NFL has an officiating problem. And with the embracing of gambling by the league, all of this should be under scrutiny. Couple that with the speed of the game and inability of refs to keep up with innovation, AI can’t replace these humans soon enough.
This Guy Just Exposed one the NFL Rigged Referees! He Needs to be Fired. Clearly Rigged Commanders/Colts.

When will the reporters in town start asking the tough questions and taking strong positions? I miss the days of @ThisShowStinks and @RealMikeWilbon taking the teams to task. @GrantPaulsen and @john_keim need to step it up and not just offer obvious takes.

How Adam Peters gets a pass on roster construction is wild to me. It’s malpractice to not have an O-line and any depth. They’re charged with protecting the most impt asset you have. @Commanders have wasted three drafts under AP. Enough. Terrible talent evaluator.

66 shouldn’t start for any SEC team. But AP thinks he’s worthy to protect an NFL QB.

How people talk to or prompt their AI is very indicative of how they converse with other humans.

Anyone who thinks the @NFL doesn’t have a serious officiating problem, is delusional. The number of bad calls impacting games and seasons is amazing.

I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that the @Apple iPhone Duo is the biggest paradigm shift in phones since the original iPhone. The combined uplift in hardware, software and design will change what we expect from our pocket computers. Stunning reveal. Kudos to the entire team.

An absolutely epic 16 hours of tennis @usopen that included this moment that reminded us how special sports is. It brings out the best in us.

Showed up on time for my appt at @paloaltomedical foundation—after receiving NUMEROUS messages to confirm and remind me ($$ for them). Show up and he’s running 20-30 min behind (at 9 AM). How about text me this (like airlines) so I don’t waste 30 min? #healthcare fail. Again.

Nothing like marrying into wealth, getting elected to support Silicon Valley businesses and the growth engine that is the valley and then going all populist and supporting the billionaire tax….all the while being comfortably wealthy thanks to the wife. Politics in America.

Some serious financial engineering. But not illegal in the baseball context.
How do the Dodgers carry an unlimited payroll? Filings uncovered by @NickNemo17 show roughly $1.45 billion in debt for American Media Productions, the entity behind SportsNet LA and the Dodgers' 25-year, $8.35 billion Charter deal, sitting on the balance sheets of 5 life insurance companies tied to or controlled by the Dodgers' own ownership group. i.e. the Dodgers get a sweetheart deal on their TV rights from a media company their owners co-own, financed by insurance companies those same owners control. Because ownership sits on both sides, as borrower and lender, the setup functions as a closed loop: -When RSNs hit turbulence, banks enforce covenants or force restructuring. Here the lenders are insurers the owners manage, so the capital stays patient and cash flow to the team never gets choked. -MLB taxes net local revenue at 34% but allows deductions for debt service and interest tied to running the network. Carrying $1.45 billion in media debt on AMP's balance sheet generates interest expense that shrinks reportable net TV income and the resulting revenue-sharing bill. Then there's the payroll itself. Over $1 billion of it is deferred, owed to 9 players through 2047. Pushing that cash out frees up money today, some of which is going toward servicing that same debt, and kicks the actual bill to a stretch of decades many of today's owners won't be around for. LA built a (seemingly illegal) structure that captures its own interest yield, shelters TV income from league revenue sharing, and helps fund payroll dominance in the process.

I really don’t get the “thank you for your attention this matter.” Every time. On a social post, who is attending to this matter?
BREAKING: President Trump says he has paused the 50% tariffs that were supposed to take effect tomorrow morning for a three day period. President Trump says the US and Canada "have a deal."

Once he realized @PaloAltoPolice erred, Kyle set the record straight and got emotional knowing a 21 year old was wrongfully accused. He admitted fault. He provided details on what happened. Jemele needs to chill out and not gas light everything. Most people are good humans.
So Kyle Shanahan admitted to causing an accident that the police tried to blame on a 21-year-old? Was all this secrecy because he didn’t want to admit he was wrong?

It would be in our collective best interest for those in power in government to embrace and listen to generational thought leaders like JH. Few see where the world is going and can map our future like him.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-W…
