BREAKING: SpaceX’s Starlink Space Safety platform is seeing growing adoption across the satellite industry. At a SmallSat meeting yesterday, SpaceX revealed that more than 30 satellite operators shared flight-path data for over 700 objects in the previous week, up from the 500+ objects disclosed in early June. SpaceX says it has no plans to monetize the service: “We do satellite internet. We’re not trying to make money off SSA.”, as per SpaceNews. SpaceX is using Starlink’s scale and technology to provide free safety infrastructure for the wider satellite industry and help keep low Earth orbit safer for everyone.

NEWS: Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest bought $27.5 million in SpaceX shares. ARK added 205,031 SpaceX shares across four ETFs, showing it remains bullish on SpaceX as Starlink continues expanding worldwide.

Starlink has around 11,040 working satellites in orbit. The next nine largest LEO constellations combined have only about 2,100. Starlink alone is more than 5x bigger than all nine combined.

President Trump’s new National Space Transportation Policy could be a major win for SpaceX. Here’s why: • Bigger scale: The 2013 policy had no yearly target. The US recorded 178 launches in 2025, including 170 by SpaceX. The new goal is 1,000+ launches and reentries combined every year by 2030. SpaceX is best positioned to handle that growth. • Less friction: Agencies must expedite facility permits and environmental reviews. This could reduce delays when SpaceX expands Falcon and Starship infrastructure. • More launch capacity: Within 180 days, officials must identify potential additional launch locations, improve federal range scheduling, integrate spaceflight into modernized air traffic control and establish priority launch corridors. Federal land for an additional reentry site must be identified within 90 days. • Stronger commercial preference: The 2013 policy already supported private providers. The new policy reinforces this by explicitly telling NASA and defense agencies to favor commercial transportation services. This could create more opportunities for Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Dragon and eventually Starship. • Moon and Mars: NASA must facilitate commercial transportation to and from the Moon while exploring commercial robotic and human transportation architectures for Mars. That closely matches Starship’s core roadmap. • Faster operations: Agencies will evaluate barriers to launches within 48 hours of need for high-priority missions and ensure reliable spectrum for launch, reentry and recovery operations. SpaceX already operates at a scale no competitor currently matches. No company appears better positioned to benefit from America’s push toward more than 1,000 annual launches and reentries.

BREAKING: SpaceX’s Starlink constellation has surpassed 11,000 satellites in orbit for the first time. Today’s successful deployment of 24 Starlink satellites brought the estimated total to 11,003, making it by far the largest satellite constellation ever built.

Doug Harned, Bernstein’s senior aerospace and defense analyst, says @Starlink is a “fantastic” and “hugely successful” business & expects its success to continue. “Starlink business is fantastic. This is already a hugely successful business & likely will continue to be that.”
