❛ damn! big time artist, huh? ❜
a soft chuckle, but he’s genuinely impressed. the other seems to have made quite the career for himself.
❛ yeah, born and raised here. i’ve traveled around a lot, though. always out lookin’ to experience new places! ❜
❛ tokyo, huh? i visited there once! real nice place.
that’s where you’re from, i’m guessin’? ❜
he likes that laugh. sounds almost like music!
the blond nods in agreement, eyes looking around, reflecting neon signs and bright billboards.
❛ find the right place and you’ll hear enough racket to keep you up all night. this city doesn’t sleep much. ❜
❛ awesome! ❜
he reaches a hand out, almost like he’d intended to take the other’s into his own, before opting to just give the other an awkward pat on the shoulder.
and just as awkwardly, he begins the walk toward the pier, a bit faster than he intends to go.
he follows after just a couple steps behind, letting the door fall shut behind him.
a hum leaves him, hands in his pockets, as he thinks.
❛ a lil’ late, but there’s a pier by the water that’s really pretty at night. a bit of a walk, though. ❜
