Since the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Democrats have controlled both the House and Senate simultaneously for 15 two-year Congresses. Of those 15 Congresses, 7 had a Democratic president. If Democrats wanted to reform the police, address racial inequality, etc, they would have.

I don’t really care for all the people wishing Americans protested like the French because when there was a nation-wide protest that started from Black people challenging police brutality, a lot of people were cheering on the police and state kidnapping and running people over
