Few days ago I spent 7 hours with an excellent guide in Chitwan to see tiger. Tigers are are solitary+ territorial animals. Their instinct is to stay hidden and avoid confrontation, esp with humans. Humans feeding tigers in tiger park is unethical but may increase cheap tourism

Nepal already has great national parks and guides. It may take many days and repeated visits to see a tiger in its natural habitat. When I shared about my experience I realized most people expect to see tigers on a jeep safari. Would be great if we were able to promote…

Experiences that already exist. Nepal offers a proper safari and visitors value that. I’m highly critical about this tiger park where humans feed tigers. I hope wildlife and conservation experts are consulted and this proposal be critically examined.

Shame, shame! Utter shame! @KtmSchoolofLaw how do you react to this gravely serious allegations against your director - Dr Yubaraj Sangraula who happened to specialize in "criminal justice system of Nepal"?

Thanks @AaratiRay1 for following and covering this issue. I’ve never listened to Sangroula’s public interviews—didn’t want to hear his voice after leaving KSL. I struggled to fully share the horrors because he was publicly admired, but I’m glad it’s finally coming to light.
Calls grow for external probe into Sangroula’s reported sexual misconduct, homophobia Current and former students accusing him see bias in the probe committee formed by Kathmandu School of Law. kathmandupost.com/national/2… —by @AaratiRay1

In this article, I conclude that if Nepal wants to meet its investment goals, i.e., attract bigger investments, it should be prepared for transactions that move beyond the plain vanilla structures that the law and regulators expect. b360nepal.com/graduating-fro…

Pleasantly surprised to come across a tea house that aspires to become zero-waste in the small village of Nange Thati located at an elevation of 2609m in the trekking route to Poon Hill (not accessible by road). The guys here serve a variety of juices w/ hand-made bamboo straws

Contemporary Newā architecture at its best. Traditional craftsmanship of woodwork has survived for centuries, & is thriving in Nepā Maṇḍala. This house built recently from ground up at Pukhusi, Kwhopa illustrates indigenous Newā community's commitment to retain its originality.
