We need to talk about this uncomfortable travel truth. The way some perfectly mobile Indian travellers use wheelchair assistance at airports needs to be talked about. Seen at Paris airport today. #wheelchairassistance #indiantravellers

Rofl that both OpenAI and Asana management believed that it would take FIVE years to migrate Enzyme to React Testing Library. What amusing BS! I imagine it went like this: Manager: “How long will it take? Give me SOMETHING” Dev (annoyed): “FIVE YEARS OK?? Now leave me alone.”
Asana says OpenAI Codex completed an engineering migration it had expected to take at least five years in about two weeks, for roughly $12,000 in model and infrastructure costs. The project: removing Enzyme, an outdated testing system that had become a blocker to upgrading Asana’s frontend stack. The company’s previous staffing plan estimated the migration would cost roughly $6 million. Instead, Asana gave Codex a prompt only five sentences long. Up to four coding agents worked in parallel, each operating in a separate copy of the codebase. A human engineer checked progress roughly twice per day and reviewed every proposed change before approval. Asana says simpler instructions actually worked better than a more elaborate setup. The result: Expected timeline: ≥5 years Actual: 1.5 weeks of engineering effort across 2 calendar weeks Previous staffing estimate: ~$6M Model + infrastructure cost: ~$12K There are probably THOUSANDS of old migrations and rewrites sitting inside companies because nobody can justify spending years on them. If agents make those projects cheap enough to attempt the engineering backlog itself starts changing.

🚨Razorpay launches AI foundation model with NVIDIA, AWS for payment routing, fraud detection Razorpay says it reported an 8-10% improvement in payment success rates, eight times more international card fraud detected and stopped, and five times more fraudulent or disputed transactions identified without an increase in alerts. It also said 40% more shoppers saw their preferred UPI app on Razorpay Magic Checkout, helping complete 1-2 lakh additional purchases a month. Co-founder @harshilmathur said the model can identify patterns such as a particular bank performing poorly for certain cards or transactions at specific times, and use those signals to improve routing. It can also recommend which saved payment instrument is more likely to work for a customer By @BhavyaDKumar moneycontrol.com/news/busine…

Yesterday was one of the most hectic days of my life while travelling. It took us 18 hours to reach Munnar. We got stuck in Annamalai National Park for eight hours on a 10 km stretch. We were supposed to reach Munnar by 4 pm but arrived around 1:30 a.m. We almost ran out of fuel, there was no network in the national park, and our family was worried about us. As girls, we struggled to find a washroom for 8-10 hours. We all say that India is not using the full potential of its tourism, but do we have that kind of infrastructure? One long weekend and every tourist place gets packed.

This is either brilliant or scary: Anthropic accidentally leaked the TS source code of Claude Code (which is closed source). Repos sharing the source are taken down with DMCA. BUT this repo rewrote the code using Python, and so it violates no copyright & cannot be taken down!
