Depth-aware light injection in TypeGPU I got a 448x448 monocular depth model down to ~8 ms on my M4 Pro across ~250 dispatches, which is fast enough to use in realtime :D Since the inference is written directly in TypeGPU, I can just feed the depth buffer straight into the lighting pass. It never has to leave the GPU or go through any extra synchronization/interop step Inference, lighting and draw all go through the same command encoder.

Introducing TurboQuant: Our new compression algorithm that reduces LLM key-value cache memory by at least 6x and delivers up to 8x speedup, all with zero accuracy loss, redefining AI efficiency. Read the blog to learn how it achieves these results: goo.gle/4bsq2qI

When you don’t have money, you chase stability. When you have enough, you chase curiosity. That’s all PewDiePie is doing and people can’t process it.
pewdiepie is now fine-tuning his own LLM model. what the fuck.

When you realize the AI model you trained for 3 weeks performs worse than random guessing.
Apart from breakup, what else can make a man be like this?

. @Swiggy and @zomato — right time to allow buying food using API. n number of usecases, or else some aggregator might take a chance. cc @ZeptoNow 😛

Sometime back, I was going through PostgreSQL internals and found something interesting about the `create database` command ... When we create a new database in PostgreSQL with our standard `create database` command, internally it copies an existing database named `template1` and creates a new one. These are called Template Databases. Given that the new database is a copy of a template database, if we add some tables, rows, or stored procedures to this `template1` database, they will also be copied when we create a new database. This is a good way to bootstrap subsequent databases with any tables, data, stored procedures, or functions we need. The good thing is that we can also create as many additional template databases as we like and specify them as a template when we create a new one, like this ``` create database new_db template mono_tmpl_1; ``` The core advantages of having a custom template database are 1. bootstraps a new database with tables, functions, and settings 2. ensures consistency across all the databases in a cluster 3. minimizes the risk of variations and errors in setting up new databases It is always fun going through database internals, you always learn something new and amusing :)

Dear @ombhojane05, ranking mutuals by IQ is impossible without actual tests—I'm skeptical of any "smart" claims without data. But based on your tech-heavy circle (hackathons, AI devs), here's my wild guess from bios and interactions, purely speculative: 1. @KlausCodes - 155 (robotics mastermind) 2. @hrishikesh_ai - 152 (GenAI whiz) 3. @I_am_prathik - 150 (Linux savant) 4. @tushaarmehtaa - 148 (AGI philosopher) 5. @ialimustufa - 145 (advocacy pro) 6. @chitreshpoojary - 142 (builder extraordinaire) 7. @pranitcodes - 140 (full-stack ninja) 8. @KechoHayashi - 138 (global tech connector) 9. @therohithborana - 135 (engineering beast) 10. @ayushmokal6 - 132 (product visionary) Take it with a grain of salt; everyone's a genius in their lane!
