Read Summary paragraph 2 of the SEC's Administrative Proceeding for the details. For financial analysts, this is an interesting case study in the (under) estimation of #warranties. lnkd.in/eTk5yyWq
Thanks to @Nina_Trentmann and Bloomberg for the Calcbench citation on interest expenses in Q1. #interestrates #earnings lnkd.in/eSXnyaDg

"Institutions with at least $100 billion in assets might have to comply"
My back of the envelope suggests that at least 45 institutions meet this criteria. @calcbench

This one is a tad personal, but it's one of the most meaningful things I have ever started. I am humbled by the confidence shown in me by the Board and the school. I do love this place, and it is not a stretch at all to say that Calcbench was born in Le…lnkd.in/eYERi9Kt
From #earnings reports filed for Q1, we examined 1700+ firms for Interest expenses. Bloomberg picked it up. Thanks to @Nina_Trentmann. #interestrates lnkd.in/eXhqK7Yr
This mornings (5/8) report from Tyson Foods is interesting. Sales flat versus a year ago, but Costs up about 10.5%! Why? They tell you. Page 28 of their MD&A (see comments section below).

Something that may be subtle to users, but not to Calcbench is that firms file #earnings (an 8K) and then file a 10Q. #DraftKings filed earnings last evening, post close, and then filed the 10Q this morning pre-open. We process both. #apple did the sa…lnkd.in/ersVWk68
It isn't just pre-open #earnings. Last night (5/3) we received over 500 earnings releases and almost 300 10Qs. They were organized, stored and ready for clients to use. #finance #economics #accounting #fintech #data #preparedness #postclose lnkd.in/ejBTehBn
Another hefty #earnings day on tap with #garmin which reported both their #8K & #10Q this morning (5/3). YoY #sales & #profits down. Look at their segments to learn more. Hint: It's the outdoor business. #worksmarternotharder $GRMN lnkd.in/grYyqFXZ
Here's another example of the power of linking data together through time. This morning (5/2) prior to the open, Broadridge reported #earnings. They report Revenues current and #recurring. I was able to get a time series of BOTH via a data feed.

In addition to #earnings for all of these firms, you can dig into the details or just summarize some. Here's #mastercard and their profitability under both GAAP and their own #nongaap. #EPS & #netincome $MA lnkd.in/eV5sE5gz
Some insight from one of the #earnings reports coming this morning. Boeing (ticker:BA cashtag: $BA) reports EPS of -$0.69 (GAAP) & -$1.27 (Non-GAAP). Reconciling the delta shows #pensions impact of -$0.37 & -$0.23. #adjustments #transparency #boeing lnkd.in/eXcyjPrk
