सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय (@MIB_India) ने मिजोरम में 1 अक्टूबर 2026 को आधिकारिक ड्यूटी के दौरान हुए सड़क हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले तीन सहकर्मियों के असामयिक निधन पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त किया। दिवंगत अधिकारियों में डॉ. एंगम पामे, आईआईएस, अपर महानिदेशक, प्रेस सूचना ब्यूरो (PIB) और केन्द्रीय संचार ब्यूरो (CBC), इंफाल; नांपिबौ मारिनमई, आईआईएस, निदेशक (समाचार), दूरदर्शन केंद्र और आकाशवाणी, आइजोल; तथा एच. लियानवेला, एमटीएस, केन्द्रीय संचार ब्यूरो, फील्ड कार्यालय, आइजोल शामिल हैं। तीन सहकर्मियों के निधन से मंत्रालय को गहरा दुख पहुंचा है। उनका असामयिक निधन उनके संबंधित संगठनों के साथ-साथ देशभर में जनसंचार और सूचना प्रसार के कार्य में लगे अधिकारियों एवं पेशेवरों के परिवार के लिए भी अपूरणीय क्षति है। सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय दिवंगत सहकर्मियों के शोकाकुल परिवारों, मित्रों और सहकर्मियों के साथ खड़ा है।

#WATCH | Delhi | Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says, "... Once the survey of flood-damaged houses is completed and the list is submitted, housing units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be sanctioned for Assam. Crops have also been damaged, and there is a need for additional seeds for vegetables and other produce. Approval for this additional requirement will also be granted. Furthermore, financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh per village organisation will be provided to the local self-help groups. Regarding the need for new housing, funds totaling approximately Rs 5,000 crore will be made available, and their sanction has already been granted..."
