Today will be a day that I remember forever. As President Biden finished speaking at the Safer Communities Summit he let us know that he could only take pictures in front of sections of the auditorium due to an incoming storm. As he walked around the front isle to take the group photos he saw me and the picture of my pops who was murdered. He gave me the Joe Biden look, (IYKYK) grabbed my shoulder, looked me in my eyes and said “You know It’s fathers day”.. there was some more conversation, he grabbed and held the picture of my dad and made his WH photographers take a picture with me and the photo of my dad. He looked at me and said “you are his twin” as he walked away.
I was speechless and I still can’t believe it. President Biden is one of the most genuine elected officials you can ever meet and he will listen to you and your story. I can’t wait to get that picture… It’ll be framed and saved forever. Out of the times that I’ve met and talked to him this day is by far the most special. An armed man charged toward Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton during a speech, injuring several people.
Dr. Acton, a physician, remained at the scene and assisted those injured.
The suspect was taken into custody and found to have two handguns and brass knuckles.
The child the system tried to break grew into the adult who now helps rebuild it. I refused to become a statistic — I rose above every expectation and turned my pain into purpose.
I’m living proof that your start doesn’t define your finish.

Yesterday, I spoke at an event for Ohio Governor Candidate @amyactonoh. Was honored to speak at this event and to get to know Amy. Big shout out to my sister Abbie for getting me to come to Ohio for this. Dr. Acton was truly amazing. Based on the excitement and turnout, seems people in Ohio agree. The crowd was 3 times the expected size. What was supposed to be an indoor event was moved outside. If you live in Ohio, please get involved and support Amy. Most importantly, get ready to VOTE!!!

Ohio just made Driver’s Ed mandatory for anyone under 21—citing a rise in car accidents. Meanwhile, you can still conceal carry a firearm without a permit, and lawmakers refuse to pass l safety measures like Safe Storage. Gun violence is the leading cause of death among children.
