ok so... there was a 2 day hackathon at work last week...
i built an infinite, 3D, ai native mmo called nocturne... it's set in the world of inkwell.
the server capacity is... pretty good..? i tested it with 1000 connections in the cloud.
it's written in a programming language i wrote (called ink).
it uses polygons & gaussian splat *frostings* for the graphics.
it has an adaptive music system that changes intensity and mood based on the gameplay.
the combat is kind of realtime dnd-like?
all of the npcs are powered by llms, you can talk to them, trade, fight them... they remember you..?
they have little neural nets inside them and they optimise for survival and happiness.
there's *trillions* of combinations of characters... *hundreds of millions* of spell combinations.
all of the creatures have a genome, they reproduce and have mutations creating new creature types...
you can catch them like in pokemon... there's semantic crafting and alchemy... you can be turned into a vampire and burn in the sunlight..?
there's a day & night cycle... seasons... fires spread, rain puts them out, ice freezes over lakes...
you can become a werewolf and infect others? or a weredragon? even a wererat.
you can ride on goats, sheep, horses, eagles and dragons...
aliens can abduct you or the farm animals...
and when you do... you can discover and explore their home planets with different physics.
there's giant colossal beasts to fight, demigods with trials that give you world changing powers...
you can get portals in a bag that take you to home's you can customise like in tiny glade...
oh and there's an api... so people can connect their local agents to it and build their own worlds...
rift's open up and invasions happen. villages learn traditions and will fear you if you treat them badly...
there's open pvp everywhere and you drop all of your gear if you die.
if you try to do pvp in the main cities, then mages will spawn in and try to kill you.
oh... there's also semantic scrying.. you can get any item and cast a spell and it opens a portal to the closest thing that is semantically similar... got a bone? maybe it'll take you to a graveyard... a log? a forest, etc.
i feel like i haven't even *scratched the surface* with how deep this game is, but this post is pretty long... so... *dream bigger*.
It'd be kinda sick if i could see my remote devin session in @t3dotcodes. Then, when my product kicks off sessions to auto-fix itself, if I need to intervene on the PR, I wouldn't have to go to another application. I just want to stay in T3 Code 😢
Pumped to try this tonight
Things included in this PR:
- Pi support.
- Auto-resume when limits reset
- T3 Code MCP (create, launch, message, wait on, read, search and interrupt threads)
- `delegate_task` lets an agent start child agents on any provider or model
- ACP Registry: add any registry agent (Devin, Cline, Kimi, Droid, and more)
- Cursor runs on the official Cursor SDK, not the (broken) CLI
- OpenCode 2 support
- Agents can rename threads, regenerate titles, link PRs and settle threads
- New MCP tools for worktree handoff, and for listing and closing previews
- Proper server-side queueing and steering
- Thread forking
- Switch provider or model in the middle of a thread
- Native subagents show as child threads in a lineage view, with their model, status and history
- Use `@` with a thread name, or drag a thread from the sidebar, to attach it as context
- Scheduled tasks
- Tons more I'm forgetting
Pumped this landed. We'll have a lot of cleanup to do to get it perfect, so expect lots of updates throughout the next few days :)
Very cool project. Interested to see how this develops. I have been thinking about this problem a lot myself.

In an attic all morning. Phone buzzing. Customer emailed she'll decide on the quote Monday. Buried by noon. We sort it and flag it.

here's how i shipped 2,500 PRs last month to production
this was originally supposed to be for Cursor Compile in London. i couldn't make it since i was livestreaming for Grok @Bot Galaxy so i'm making it available for free here on X! watch it on 2x speed, i talk slowly

we got hit with a crazy scam attempt
someone signed up for our inference and did a video call with our sales person confirming intent to spend $400,000 over the next year and asked for increased rate limits
our sales person felt like something was off so he looked up the company - found a bunch of videos of the CEO and it looked and sounded like the same person he talked to
so he figured it was real but we started looking deeper
the email they had been talking to us from was a lookalike domain that was registered 4 days ago. all the traffic they were sending looked bizarre and came from foreign IPs
emailed them for more info to see what they'd say. of course they hit us with the "i'm about to get on a plane, can't do anything right now, please move forward"
messaged the real CEO on instagram and yeah he had no idea what we were talking about, the scammer was deepfaking him
be careful out there, things are getting crazy

Everyone says "add a cache." Nobody shows you the cliff.

Linux is just a unix clone.
Tailscale is just a nice UI for wireguard.
Android is just linux.
Cloudflare is just a CDN.
Github is just a wrapper for git.
AI is just stolen books.
Omarchy is just Arch + dotfiles.
Maybe there's a lot of value in being *just* something.

On Omarchy for the last few days.
Wanted a dock, so I built it with an agent.
Wanted an infinite canvas, so I built it with an agent.
Want a new file manager, being built now.
Yes it's not super polished yet.
But there is no going back to a locked down OS.
You build your own apps. You build your own OS.
PS: Posting from a MBPro because it's 2:43AM and I can't begin to learn Kdenlive now.
