An absolute ‘pinch-me’ moment. Can’t believe I’m on the cover of ⁦@thebookseller⁩ , a magazine I’ve been reading for over twenty years.

Many congratulations to @RMcGreevy1301 on the publication of Seán Lemass: The Lost Memoir. At the launch the Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD gave a very fine and thoughtful speech about the history of the Irish state and Lemass’s place in it. Oh and there’s a good foreword to the book

A privilege to launch 'Sean Lemass – the Lost Memoir' by Ronan McGreevy. By any measure, Seán Lemass is one of the great figures of independent Ireland. This book captures the intellect and vision of a truly remarkable man who laid the foundations for our modern state.

Today is publication day for Seán Lemass: The Lost Memoir. It was such a privilege to edit the memoir of a man who was not just an outstanding patriot, but witty, insightful and wise with a rare facility to present complex political ideas in clear language. Many thanks to @Hodges_Figgis for the wonderful display.
