Let’s say we’re halfway to the point of no return. Do you want your team to fix the mess of an NDP government that gets us to 90% of the way there, or a BC Conservative government that gets us 60% of the way there?

I was assigned specifically to catalogue the primary documents from St. Paul's and St. Mary's in Alberta, and Blue Quills and Kamloops IRS in BC, but I had to look at the docs from most schools for other assignments. Thanks for asking.

A lot of irreparable damage will be done in 4 years by the NDP. That’s not a price I’m willing to pay on principle. My vote will go to the BC Conservatives.

I spent four years reviewing historical residential school documents from BC and Alberta. What I saw was regular correspondence between school administrators and local band chiefs concerning child welfare (mostly concerning protection from their own parents) indigenous curriculum, enrolment (mostly requests to increase enrolment from the band), truancy, and other topics of mutual interest and cooperation. Also lots of thank you letters from the band to departing school teachers and principals for their contributions to the community.

Eby’s tax hikes will make BC the second highest tax jurisdiction in the world behind Denmark.

You haven’t been paying attention. The coalition of neo-cons/libs, libertarians, and conservatives that made up the “right wing” is no more. Modern day conservatives want tight immigration. Libertarians (the free marketeers) and the neo-libs (the globalists) are the ones in favour of temporary migrant workers. They are mostly all Liberals and Democrats now.

Exile was another one that made my shortlist. My wife and I listed to it on repeat in the mid 90’s when we were dating in university. It was one of the only records we agreed on! This and Blur and the Breeders. Belle and Sebastian came later for us.

“Disgruntled former BC Conservative MLA ousted from party upset that Doerkson talks to another disgruntled former BC Conservative MLA ousted from party and not her” Nothingburger or a story @CTVNews, so what’s with all the scary fear mongering?

Revisited Penthouse after you posted it a few days ago. Amazing how much Malkmus guitar, Low, and Yo La Tengo I hear on that album.

I saw them play that whole album live a couple of months ago in Seattle. They put on a great show.

Alien Lanes and Achtung Baby were both on my shortlist.

One of those things I have an inexplicably intense desire to try but the profound sense of dread that it will all go so terribly wrong keeps me in check.

Profoundly ironic that Elon is the sanest of this bunch.

I struggled to included Belle and Sebastian. Would have been Boy with the Arab Strap.

I'm not a huge Flaming Lips fan, but they absolutely captured lighting in a bottle with the Soft Bulletin. It was the best possible album to see us out of the 90s.
