People buy stories. Any product beyond basic human necessities is a story for sale. It either tells an interesting story, or has one behind it. We know it when we buy a book or a movie ticket, but somehow forget it when it comes to other products.
ok its no longer funny... how is this ad bloated garbage making so much money? Genuine question what about this is appealing to the userbase? There are surely 30 other games out there with the same premise but 10x better. Why this one? Please make it make sense

Sorun sadece mobile özelmiş gibi göstermeniz finans sektöründe yanıltıcı bilgiye girer @fibabanka. Bu işler öyle kolay değil. Gofret markası değilsiniz siz. Kartlarınız çalışmıyor. ATMleriniz de çalışmıyor. Hayrola?
Merhaba, Fibabanka Mobil'de yaşanan kesintinin en kısa sürede giderilmesi için çalışıyoruz. Anlayışınız için teşekkür ederiz. 💙💚

1) Why doesn't your Turkish page has no link to any method of contact whatsoever? 2) Why do you share a phone number (and even service hours) if the only response on your phone line is an automated "We don't provide support on the phone"? @GoDaddy

I’m a chemist. I need to say this - because it’s getting dangerous out there. It’s called chemophobia. And it’s turning scientifically illiterate panic into a personality trait. People are now terrified of: • “artificial chemicals” • molecules made in a lab • pesticides at parts-per-billion • ingredients they can’t pronounce Meanwhile they drink alcohol, inhale smoke, burn fuel, eat plant toxins and scroll on phones built entirely by chemistry. The hypocrisy is unbelievable. Chemistry is not some dark force attacking humanity. Chemistry is: • medicine • fertilizers • vaccines • materials • electronics • clean water • food preservation • modern agriculture • literally your own body Without chemistry, modern civilization collapses frighteningly fast. And yet social media has convinced millions of people that “chemical-free” is a meaningful scientific concept. It isn’t. And when fear replaces chemistry, people stop trusting: • vaccines
• medicines
• food safety
• crop protection
• innovation itself A scientifically illiterate society becomes easy to manipulate. So yes - I will keep defending chemistry. Because chemistry is not the enemy. Chemistry is the reason most of us are alive long enough to complain about it.

I still use Google tbh. But just because it makes a good use of Gemini in its answers these days
I think the craziest part of AI is that I truly never thought anything would replace Google. Google search felt like the one tech habit that was truly unbeatable. The home page of the internet. And now I ChatGPT or Claude pretty much every single question I have.

The deeper mistake is optimizing for users constantly staying on the site, and for user minutes. X could easily be the best news hub and discourse hub in the world. But instead we get a hub of Gunther Eaglemans. They should realize that if the experience is good we will keep coming back. We will come back after reading the article. We will come back tomorrow. I would gladly pay for the service even if my overall use is fewer minutes. We would tell our friends to come on here and read about the news. The latter really is a key indicator. I would not recommend X to friends in its current state. And indeed from what I hear, when people log on here as new users without a curated list of accounts to follow, they get a slop experience.
"Portal to the rest of the Internet" is key. For years, this site was the front page of a morning paper whose articles were spread all over the web. That isn't *gone*, but management now tries to suppress it & replace it with..."Gunther Eagleman"? "Wall Street Apes"? Come on.

I taught Claude to talk like a caveman to use 75% less tokens. normal claude: ~180 tokens for a web search task caveman claude: ~45 tokens for the same task "I executed the web search tool" = 8 tokens caveman version: "Tool work" = 2 tokens every single grunt swap saves 6-10 tokens. across a FULL task that's 50-100 tokens saved why does it work? caveman claude doesn't explain itself. it does its task first. gives the result. then stops. no "I'd be happy to help you with that." no "Let me search the web for you" no more unnecessary filler words "result. done. me stop." 50-75% burn reduction with usage limits getting tighter every week this might be the most practical hack out there right now

If I can't reply to a post, I don't think it should appear on my timeline. Regardless of how important, or correct, or interesting the author thinks they are. If I want a read-only experience, I'll buy a paper newspaper. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

People are so confused about this tweet, so let me elaborate. Yes, AI will eventually create art that is as good or even better than humans. But, humans will not care for it, beside an initial curiosity, because art is not about art. It’s about the humans who created it and their stories. Art it’s an exploration of human limits. Humans are fundamentally not interested in what other species do, think or feel. How many people watch AI play chess?
Nobody wants to read AI-generated books, watch an AI-generated movie or listen to an AI-generated song.

Nikita decided that he'd demonstrate he doesn't understand what he is doing on a daily basis. It is relatively easy to get this metric trend higher by completely enslopifying the platform, which he's indeed very successful at doing. The problem with that strategy, is that it works by spending the platform's reputation, a metric that does not appear on any dashboard. When you run out of reputation, the curve collapses as everybody moves on on another platform, and there are virtually no ways to recover from this. The metric to track is whether people find more of what they came on the plateform to find, not whether you are able to waste as much of their time as you can.
