✍️ “Pony Girl delivered a performance that has a depth of music and lyrics beyond their age. Rather than glamourising pop’s simplistic formula, Pony Girl is much more of a post-grunge or punk band that addresses themes of racism and corporate greed.”

✍️“The best word I can find to describe Pony Girl is: interesting. That’s not a bad thing, they’ve got a very unique style and musical form and in a time where there’s so much repetition and copycating of other artists interesting can be a refreshing change.”

Congratulations! You’ve survived @ottawabluesfest for another year! Sunday’s lineup might have fewer acts, but it should provide tired festivalgoers a nice final day to transition back to ‘normal’ life. 🎶

I just saw Pony Girl's set at Bluesfest and they were delightfully unusual. I had no idea what to expect, and by the time they played a clarinet solo out of left field, I knew I was in the right place ✨
