Why is my feed filled with people trying to monetize the stupid Red Barron employee guy?
Why is there a GFM for someone who is no different than the majority out there?
Why are people so foolish to part with money over something so mundane?
What are the chances this was a scam he was in on and people are so stupid they fall for it?
This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous and a mirror image of our virtue signaling narcissistic society.
This story is not anywhere near worthy 3 seconds of your time never mind a cent of your money.
I’ll gladly give up my portion of SS payouts for your kids to not have to pay in if they promise to cut my grass, clean my gutters, powerwash my fence and shovel my driveway at my 3 multi acreage houses.

Remember folks, when someone overtly threatens to rape your wife and grandchildren the next time you’re out of town and then proceed to tell you that there is nothing you can do about it; they are mostly correct. There is nothing you can legally do about it.
Louisiana pastor beats up a man who allegedly threatened to r*pe and kill his wife and grandchildren.
Pastor Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle Church says he was working on a church bus when the neighbor's son started shouting at him.
Spell said that it is his job as the natural protector to protect his church and family.
"He said, 'Tony, I'm gonna r*pe your wife, I'm gonna r*pe all of your grandchildren,' and he said, 'The next time you go out of town, I'm gonna kill them, and what the F are you going to do about it?" Spell said.
The neighbors, the Sherwin family, claim Spell is not telling the truth, but during a press conference, Spell was backed by members of his church who say they've made multiple complaints about the Sherwin family to police.
Spell's attorney says the Sherwin family has "a large, industrial-scale camera that could see from across the street all the way into the pulpit."
Spell was hit with multiple misdemeanor summonses in 2020 during the COVID lockdowns when he refused to close his church.
"The Central City police are friends with these folks across the street. When Pastor Spell was being surveilled 24/7, it was with the help of the man across the street," Spell's lawyer said.
The pastor was reportedly arrested and booked for second-degree battery.

⚡️The AI backlash is becoming the first major legitimacy crisis of the acceleration era.
The industry moved faster than the social contract.
Tech leaders spent the last two years telling people AI will transform everything. Then the message hardened into something much uglier: jobs will be automated, data centers will eat power, electricity bills may rise, students may graduate into a broken ladder, artists and writers may have their work absorbed, and ordinary people should trust that the benefits will arrive later.
That pitch was always politically unstable.
People can tolerate innovation when the upside feels shared. They rebel when the costs arrive locally and the gains appear to flow upward. Data centers hit towns. Power costs hit households. Layoffs hit workers. Broken entry-level jobs hit graduates. Copyright fights hit creators. AI wealth hits a tiny ownership class first.
That creates a very simple public reaction: why should society absorb the disruption while the upside accrues to labs, hyperscalers, chip companies, executives, and shareholders?
This is where the AI story changes from technology to power.
The backlash will not stop AI. The national-security race, corporate productivity race, and capital race are too strong. The U.S. cannot pause while China accelerates. Companies cannot slow down while competitors automate. Investors cannot ignore margin expansion. Governments cannot ignore intelligence, cyber, military, logistics, and surveillance advantages.
So the rebellion becomes friction, not reversal.
Expect fights over data centers, grid access, water use, local zoning, copyright, child safety, employment displacement, model transparency, political bias, surveillance, and who owns personal AI agents. AI deployment will continue, but with more resistance, more litigation, more state-level intervention, more populist rhetoric, and more attempts to localize control.
DeSantis posting this is the tell. AI skepticism is no longer only left-wing labor anxiety or artist backlash. It is becoming a right-populist, local-control, anti-corporate, anti-grid-burden issue too. That makes it politically durable because it can pull from multiple directions at once.
The deeper signal: AI has lost innocence.
The public no longer sees only magic. It sees extraction. Power extraction. Labor extraction. Data extraction. Cultural extraction. Energy extraction. Attention extraction.
That does not kill the boom.
It makes the boom more adversarial.
Final read: AI enters the next phase as acceleration under rebellion.
The machine keeps moving, but every step forward now creates a political counterforce.

⚡️What the study is actually measuring is the extent to which the mobile internet has been damaging human cognition at scale.
Two weeks without it produces improvements that rival or exceed clinical interventions. Which means the baseline state most people are in is significantly impaired compared to what their brain is capable of. The impairment is being actively caused by continuous exposure to the device in their pocket.
This is not a surprising finding if you think about it mechanically. The human attention system evolved to handle environmental stimuli at roughly the rate the environment produced them. The mobile internet delivers novel stimuli at a rate that is orders of magnitude higher than anything the attention system was built for. Continuous exposure to that rate trains the brain to expect constant novelty, to switch context rapidly, to disengage from any stimulus that doesn’t produce an immediate reward. That pattern is literally the opposite of sustained attention. So of course sustained attention collapses when you use mobile internet heavily. That’s exactly what would happen mechanically.
The mental health finding follows from the attention finding but also has its own dynamics. Mobile internet is an anxiety delivery system in the literal sense. Every notification is a small dose of uncertainty about what’s on the other side. The cumulative effect of hundreds of those per day, every day, for years, is chronic activation of the threat detection system. That chronic activation shows up clinically as anxiety and depression. Remove the source and those symptoms reduce.
The finding that mobile internet blocking outperformed antidepressants is the part that will be ignored most completely because it has massive implications. If the primary driver of mental health decline in the developed world is a specific environmental exposure, then the entire mental health treatment industry is operating downstream of the actual cause. Billions of dollars spent treating symptoms that are being continuously recreated by a device everyone carries. The honest intervention would be to change the exposure. But that’s unprofitable, unpopular, and unenforceable. So the treatment industry will continue growing while the cause goes unaddressed.
The deeper thing the study hints at but doesn’t state directly is that the last fifteen years of human cognition has been a mass experiment with no control group.
Everyone on the planet has been simultaneously exposed to the same novel stimulus at scale. We have no idea what humans would be like right now if mobile internet had never existed.
We only have the before and after, and the after is clearly worse on multiple measurable dimensions. Attention down. Mental health down. Reading comprehension down. Memory down. Focus down.
All of these measurable declines track the adoption curve of the smartphone.

I’ve never understood how some people don’t realize that the idea that the entire space program, mercury, Apollo, moon landings etc. was a tremendously expensive multi decade hoax that has never been fully revealed or confirmed, is actually a bigger stretch of the imagination than believing that they put tons of money into a program using the best minds and bravest men they could find and actually accomplished a tremendous feat.
