Bay Area! You sold out night 1 at The Castro so quickly that we wanted to do something extra special. We are excited to announce on May 2 the first ever night of Poolside Open to Close. Poolside (DJ Set) to get the night going, Poolside 6-Piece Band to get the dance floor rocking, and a Poolside (DJ Set) to close. Sign up here for early access: laylo.com/poolside/

Looking Backwards to move forwards. My new song takes us back to the early Poolside mindset: combining sounds and genres that shouldn’t ever be in the same room together. 80s New Age + 2010s trap with Poolside vibes. This song is something sonically that we had never made before, nostalgic, but without the longing - like the closing credits to a film. Poolside started as a refusal to fit in. That refusal shaped every record since 2012. Five albums, each one shaped visually by an artist who understood the moment. This era belongs to @williamapan When we met each other at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, I was djing the closing night of the David Hockney exhibition - notably an artist who deeply influenced Poolside sound and aesthetic. Will and I just clicked that night - and I learned William and I work in similar ways, finding the new thing inside the unexpected place. Listen Here: poolside.lnk.to/lookingbackw…

Proud to share "Otherside" with you all. This collaboration with @thunderjackson and Miiracles (Dan of @londongrammar & Nick Gale) has so much deep meaning to me. Stream it here and let me know what you think: poolside.lnk.to/otherside

We were in Damon Albarn's studio in London with Dan, Nick Gale, and Kyle when I logged into Facebook and learned of three losses. That mix of sudden grief, restlessness, and a strange lightness collided and became our song, "Otherside." Pre-Save Here: poolside.lnk.to/otherside
