Spending time on truly killer case studies is huge ROI
A case study is either a sales weapon or it's a blog post nobody reads
The blog post version is "We worked with a great brand and grew their business"
The weapon version is named industry, named buyer, named before-number, named after-number, named timeline, the exact system we installed, and one quote from the operator on their side
If you need to redact the logo for a privacy reason that's fine but try to push for specificity
Good case study affects every part of the business. Huge impact in sales cycles
If you don't have a shark of a lawyer on standby you're not doing big enough deals
First time you sign an MSA with a real company the clauses that kill margins aren't the obvious ones
Broad IP assignment that takes your internal tooling + indemnification carve-outs above the liability cap + long net payment terms labeled "standard"
Spend the money on real council the first time you get one of these instead of the fifth
