The child was terminally ill and was going to suffer a horrible death. We shouldn't let that happen to children just to accomodate your discomfort.
They just euthanized a child under 12 in the Netherlands. And called it progress
The country's health minister said the procedure took place at the end of last year.
It is the first such case since a law came into force allowing euthanasia for terminally ill children aged 1 to 12.
The procedure is permitted only with parental consent and in cases where a child is experiencing unbearable suffering with no prospect of recovery.
After a review, a special oversight committee found no violations in the doctors' actions.
