Brazilian leftist President Lula has defeated right-wing challenger Flavio Bolsonaro for another term in office, the Brazilian electoral authorities said.
Lula had lost to Bolsonaro in the first round of the election earlier this month. Lula's victory has massive implications for Brazil's economic, social and foreign policy.
