27+ states now require a government ID or a selfie to prove your age online. Discord lost 70,000 of those ID photos in a breach. A dating app leaked 72,000 selfies. Sold as child safety. Built: a database of faces tied to what you looked at.

🚨 California says it wants to "protect children online". Yet, forcing EVERYONE to verify their age won't stop harm - but put all of us under surveillance. Age verification and ID checks cannot be the solutions. They rather destroy everyone's #privacy The fight against #AgeVerification must continue ✊ Learn more about which countries are planning to ban social media for kids and teenagers: 👉 tuta.com/blog/age-verificati…

totally and definitely not a censorship law
The EU is reportedly preparing to ban kids under 15 from social media, AI chatbots and online games

Please spread the word about this! The EU has more important things to do to protect children than to implement this controversial bill. That is to strongly urge China, in particular, to slow down development and regulate AI to prevent it from running amok. This stems from a recent warning by a retired Ananthropic employee that "AI could kill humanity within 10 years." If this is true, it would be a threat to many people, including children. Following this former employee's warning, not only the CEO of Ananthropic itself, but even the CEOs of major AI companies like OpenAI have endorsed it, so it shouldn't be dismissed as nonsense. The reason for emphasizing China is that even if US AI companies take a sense of crisis and implement regulations, if China continues to develop AI to a dangerous level, it will not only be meaningless but will make the situation even worse. That is precisely why a fundamental prerequisite is to prevent all nations from developing AI to a dangerous level; we must strongly urge China to heed this. Even if it is a difficult message to convey to them, given their past insistence on "protecting children," it is abundantly clear that they—like everyone else—should adopt the best possible measures to avert future crises for the sake of all people, including children.
The EU Commission will unveil an “EU Kids Act” on Thursday that would restrict social media, video platforms, online games and AI chatbots for under-15s. Draft rules: parent-controlled accounts under 13, limited accounts at 13–15, own accounts from 15, plus mandatory age checks. Von der Leyen is expected to preview it in Wednesday’s State of the Union speech. The text is still a draft. They’re trying their hardest to push this law

America has 5,427 data centers. China has 513. China has roughly 5× the population. There is no “AI race” in any meaningful material sense. There is a U.S. infrastructure blitz dressed up as geopolitical destiny. Fuck the propaganda.

Digital ID laws will destroy the entire internet. Any politician that supports this needs to be voted out
Google is rolling out "age verification" in Canada. It will use machine learning to surveil account activity, including search history and YouTube viewing patterns, to estimate whether a user is over or under 18. If an adult is incorrectly classified as a minor, they may be asked to verify their age with a government ID or selfie.

Do I think AI could kill us? Not really, no. Do I think the technofascist doomsday nerds would intentionally do something with AI that could harm us? Kinda, yeah. Especially if they think the shock of it will increase company value.

This is what you let advance and proliferate when you accept that “we should just compromise :)” btw. They aren’t interested in “common sense” or “just sports”. And every liberal willing to cede that ground is culpable for them being able to keep pushing farther.
INTRODUCING: The Gender Delusion Disqualification Act. Our bill will ensure individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria cannot hold a position or certification if the said position or certification already has mental health standards in place. Applying the already existing standards consistently, across the board, for roles where the federal government has determined mental health fitness to be a job requirement. Federal hiring rules should be clear, consistent and grounded in the standards agencies already use, not selectively applied to fit woke agendas. Gender delusion is a mental illness. It's far past time we treated it as such.

FLOCK patent indicates it’s a national citizen identification and tracking system using neural networks. The ALPR cameras are just an entry point. The real product is the DSOQ database and the AI models that identify, classify, and track people. 🚨👀 The "opt-in" language and the dynamic footprint language prove this was never just about police cameras. This was designed from day one to incorporate private cameras, smartphones, and any video source. Its a surveillance architecture designed to crowdsource video from the public.🚨👀 —- And if you look at the NEURAL NETWORK Figure you see The patent explicitly includes a neural network for identifying PEOPLE It explicitly includes a neural network for HEIGHT AND WEIGHT. Those are body characteristics. Those are biometric surrogates. You do not need someone's height, weight, and clothing type to read a license plate. You need those things to identify a PERSON when you cannot or choose not to use facial recognition. —- Not only this most disturbing is🚨👀 The patent defines "fingerprint data" as including "Hough lines, non-zero pixel ratio, black/white pixel ratio, white balance, hash value, neighborhood data, and planar, induced subgraph of all relevant objects. " Read that list carefully🚨👀. Hough lines measure geometric shapes. Non-zero pixel ratios measure object density. Black/white pixel ratios measure contrast patterns. White balance measures color temperature. Hash values create unique digital identifiers. Planar subgraphs map relationships between objects. human body metric data. Combined with the height/weight neural network and the clothing type neural network, the fingerprint data creates a unique biometric profile of a person that can identify them WITHOUT their face being visible. You can identify someone by their height, build, clothing, movement pattern, and neighborhood location without ever seeing their face.🚨👀 —- Even more disturbing 🚨😬 The patent explicitly states: "embodiments of the system are not constrained by any geographic footprint associated with a set network of surveillance devices" and can "leverage a dynamic geographic footprint defined by the geographic locations of unrelated surveillance devices." Translation: the system was designed to expand its coverage by incorporating ANY camera, ANYWHERE. The patent envisions neighborhood watches, commercial security systems, home security systems, traffic cameras, AND portable recording devices which means smartphones, body cameras, drones, and any personal video device. The "dynamic" footprint is not a feature. It is a design specification for national-scale coverage using every available camera as a node.🚨👀⚠️⚠️⚠️ —- 🚨⚠️👀 Read FIG. 7. The historical analysis module "compares outputs, decoded symbology and/or confidence ratings of seed record with other records in the DSOQ database" and "returns records statistically significantly similar to the seed record." It has tracking function. Given one sighting of a person or vehicle at one location and time, the system queries the entire database for ALL other records that are statistically similar. It finds every other time that person or vehicle appeared on ANY camera in the network. It reconstructs movements across the entire grid. The patent calls this "historical analysis." The correct term is movement reconstruction.🚨⚠️👀 @RepThomasMassie patentimages.storage.googlea… patents.google.com/patent/US…

Donald Trump just replaced the Pledge of Allegiance with a pledge of allegiance to himself. This November, the choice is yours on the ballot: America or Trump.
Trump: "Please right your right hand. I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States. That loves us so much he can't even breath. That I will go out with my family, my friends, I'll do it any way -- I don't care if I'm registered or not, I'm going to try to cheat like hell like they do ... "

Cheerleaders for the ASAA and other age-verification legislation either don't understand the legislation, or they understand and they don't care. There is no way to verify age without destroying privacy. Those willing to sacrifice the privacy of children aren't concerned about "protecting" them.
Microsoft just joined Apple and Google: Windows will now send your child’s age range from the operating system straight to apps. Not a birthday, but a permanent age signal tied to the Microsoft account. Built so platforms can “comply” without asking you. This is how age verification becomes digital ID infrastructure: quietly, at the OS layer, sold as child safety. Parents are the Firewall. Not Apple. Not Google. Not Microsoft. biometricupdate.com/202609/m…

trendingtopics.eu/world-war-… as a remainder folks. Haidt wants age verification. Peter Thiel is in charge of Palantir. They have been tracking us and scanning our license plates and etc. Not hard to get suspicious here
Great progress! @RepAuchincloss and @RepHouchin introduced the 16 & Up Social Media Act today. This bipartisan legislation bars under-16s from platforms that were designed to hook young users: infinite scroll, autoplay, algorithmic feeds, appearance-altering filters, etc. This is the approach I've been waiting to see from the U.S. Congress. In the long run we want to incentivize companies to make safer products. Until then, gaining access to platforms with manipulative, unsafe design needs age minimums.

TRUMP JUST TOLD A CROWD OF THOUSANDS TO RAISE THEIR RIGHT HAND AND PLEDGE TO CHEAT Not a slip of the tongue. Not a joke he walked back. Donald Trump, standing on stage in Dallas, told an entire convention hall to raise their right hand like they're being sworn into office Then he made them repeat it out loud "I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States" "I'll do it any way, I don't care if I'm registered or not, I'm going to try and cheat like hell" A sitting president led a mass loyalty oath and scripted the word cheat directly into it Not metaphor. Not accusation from a critic. His own words, his own crowd, his own hand raised first This is the same stage where he promised every adult in America five grand if his party wins in November Cash on one night. A cheating pledge on the next. Same convention. Same man. Same pattern You do not need a loyalty oath if you trust the count You do not joke about cheating if cheating was never the plan Half the country will clip this and laugh it off as Trump being Trump The other half already knows what a personality cult sounds like when it's rehearsing out loud This is not a rally anymore. This is a script for how the next election gets contested before a single vote is cast

I read through some of this report and holy hell are we way past the point of no return… A few things that stood out to me: One guy helped build a surveillance system capable of monitoring ~25 MILLION SIM cards. And “monitoring SIM cards” undersells it. The system could collect calls, texts and voice, recognize the same person’s voice EVEN IF THEY SWITCHED SIM cards, flag people using VPNs, create watchlists, connect people to government records, and generate intelligence reports on basically any phone number…… They even removed the warrant requirement. And this was apparently ONE Claude subscriber using AI as his engineering team. The really crazy part is the finished system runs locally on his machine. Anthropic banned him, but they can’t just switch the system off now that it exists………..and if that’s not bad.. A group in Yemen was using Claude like a team of missile engineers. They had different Claude instances doing different jobs like coding, researching, another checking the work etc. while they worked on guidance systems for rockets and missiles. They actually fired a guided rocket. It failed. So they went back to Claude hours later to figure out why. That is the part that gets me. AI isn’t just giving someone information from the internet anymore. It can sit inside the actual computer and → test → fail → fix → test again until their rocket works. Then … it gets worse somehow ..Russian hackers are starting to automate almost the entire hacking process. Finding targets. Phishing them. Stealing passwords. Getting inside systems. Pulling out data. And when security software detected their malware, AI agents could modify it, rebuild it and try again until it stopped getting detected…….That completely changes the game because historically defenders could discover malware, block it, and force the attackers to spend time rebuilding everything. Now the rebuilding can happen automatically. So cybercriminals basically had AI doing the hacking for them. Anthropic says in one operation, AI agents performed “nearly all” of the work. One company went from initial access to massive data theft in hours. In another case, one stolen developer credential turned into full control of a company’s cloud storage in around 3 hours. So you no longer necessarily need a giant sophisticated hacking team. You need a person who knows what they want done + agents capable of figuring out the details. K… then…Governments are already using AI to industrialize propaganda too. Anthropic found Iranian state operations using Claude to create fake personas, rewrite government messaging so it looked like it came from independent sources, translate it across languages, and distribute it across social media. Basically the old propaganda machine, except now you can generate thousands of believable “people” and pieces of content for almost nothing. And then there’s biology……. Anthropic found people using its models for research involving bird flu adapting to mammals, toxin redesign, and other stuff that has legitimate scientific uses but could also become extremely dangerous. Some were actively finding ways around Anthropic’s safeguards. One system would literally send prompts Claude refused to ANOTHER AI model that was more willing to answer them. Anthropic is very clear that this does not mean all of those researchers intended harm. But that almost makes the larger problem harder..the same knowledge that could help prevent the next pandemic can potentially help someone create one. I think this is the actual takeaway from the entire report is that AI doesn’t have to invent some completely new form of evil. It just has to make things that previously required 50 engineers, hackers, intelligence analysts, or scientists possible for 1 person. And models are getting cheaper, more autonomous and way better at running offline where nobody can shut them off. THAT is what I think people should be paying attention to.
We're publishing our most detailed threat intelligence report to date. It covers how people tried to misuse Claude—for cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, biology, and building weapons—and how we found and stopped them. We disrupted every operation in the report, and used the lessons from them to strengthen our safeguards. Where appropriate, we also shared what we found with authorities and other AI companies. These cases are not typical: we’re highlighting some of the most sophisticated misuse we’ve seen. But they’re especially important to discuss, because they show us where AI misuse is headed, where our safeguards work, and where they need to improve. We’re publishing this report so others can spot the same activity on their own platforms, and so we can give the public a clearer view of how emerging threats develop. Read the report: anthropic.com/threat-intelli…

This was and IS your fault. Bring back inspectors, stop lying to everyone about food (the cost of it, the safety of it, the origin of it, what you eat) and your ridiculous nonsense about health, and we can talk. Until then we cannot trust that you give two shits about this.
Americans deserve a food supply they can trust. When an outbreak occurs, we move quickly to find the source, protect families, and prevent more illnesses. Thank you to the teams at @CDCgov, @FDA, and across HHS who tracked this outbreak and worked to keep Americans safe.
