Did a binge in order to catch up for the finale and it reaffirmed how consistently fantastic the series utilizes the medium. Creative paneling, amazing use of shading, and just fantastic attention to detail across the board

Special Message from the author of The Summer Hikaru Died:
"[โฆ] I am deeply grateful to all the readers who appreciated The Summer Hikaru Died and engaged with it so sincerely. There are no monsters in this world, but I offer my blessings to those who still feel like monsters themselves".

If you have an intense soul, you need to pour that intensity into your hobbies/art. That energy needs to go somewhere or it'll swallow you. Your depth must have a purpose. Create your own worlds, that you and other like minded people can escape into. You have a super power.

I'm fascinated by the rise of frictionmaxxing as a response to a frictionless life. We engineer away inconvenience, only to discover that some of the friction we removed was part of what made life feel alive in the first place

This is what's behind any animation studio making anime. Some watchers complain about lack of accuracy or how the quality has gone down in some episodes. Y'all need to consider the people behind them and how draining and exhausting it can be.
