Vitamin C completely prevents rise in cortisol in stress study.
More evidence for the anti-cortisol / anti-stress properties of high doses of vitamin C.
Animals given a 500-700 mg human equivalent of C had no elevation in cortisol in response to stress.
The adrenals concentrate vitamin C more than just about any other tissue, and appear to use it to regulate cortisol synthesis.

A new therapy uses only light and sound flashing at 40 hertz — and it prompts the brain to clear Alzheimer's plaques.
Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have uncovered a promising non-invasive approach to treating Alzheimer's disease by using visual and auditory stimulation tuned to 40 hertz.
By exposing patients to lights flickering and sounds clicking exactly 40 times per second—a frequency corresponding to naturally occurring gamma brainwaves—the treatment stimulates crucial neural networks.
Initial clinical trials reveal that this rhythmic sensory stimulation encourages the brain's innate immune cells, known as microglia, into an active state, prompting them to clear harmful amyloid-beta plaques and tau tangles that accumulate in neurodegenerative conditions.
Beyond removing toxic protein build-ups, the therapy has been shown to reduce brain atrophy, preserve synaptic connections, and slow the rate of cognitive decline in patients with mild Alzheimer's.
Because the method relies entirely on non-invasive sound and light devices rather than complex pharmaceutical interventions, patients can safely receive treatment at home with virtually no side effects.
As expanded clinical trials progress, this simple yet novel technique could revolutionize neurodegenerative care by providing an accessible, low-risk therapeutic option for millions of families.

Playing video games may do more than entertain the brain.
A 2026 study found that frequent gamers performed better on certain attention tasks than casual gamers.
They showed stronger focused attention, fewer missed responses, and more correct responses.
This does not mean gaming makes everyone smarter. But it suggests that gaming habits and specific cognitive abilities may be connected.
Do you think video games can help improve attention?

Activated oocytes can remain in the ovary much longer than we thought. Some oocytes were in the mouse ovary for at least 11 months - almost the entire reproductive lifespan of mice! Follicle development seems now highly heterogeneous and converges from the uniform growth to death cycle progression we’re familiar with.
Also older ovaries and reduced ovarian reserve decreased activated oocyte lifespan.

👁️ Scientists have unlocked the secret to natural eye repair by removing a single protein that blocks the retina from regenerating.
For decades, medical science operated on the assumption that mammalian eyes could not repair themselves once vision loss occurred. Unlike zebrafish or amphibians, human retinas lack the innate ability to regrow damaged cells, rendering conditions like macular degeneration and glaucoma largely irreversible.
However, researchers have identified a key biological obstacle preventing this natural repair process: a protein named PROX1 that acts as a strict molecular stop sign inside retinal support cells.
By developing a targeted therapy to neutralize this protein, scientists successfully prompted mouse retinas to reprogram their own cells and naturally rebuild light-sensing tissue.
The intervention led to long-term vision recovery, proving that the cellular machinery for eye regeneration was merely dormant rather than lost. This breakthrough marks a monumental shift in ophthalmology, offering real hope that future treatments could actively restore sight rather than simply slowing down its decay.

It is becoming f*cking dangerous: Anthropic documented every piece of this separately, and nobody noticed what they add up to
1. Create a folder on your PC - this is the only world your agent will ever see
2. Launch Claude Code inside it and drop a CLAUDE.md in the root with your rules - it loads into every single session, you never paste context again
3. Create a MEMORY folder and add one rule to CLAUDE.md: write every durable fact there, read it before planning anything
4. Create .claude/agents/ and define three read-only Haiku 5.5 subagents - they explore the files, your main model never burns context on the search
5. Give it a real browser: claude mcp add playwright -- npx -y @playwright/mcp@latest
6. Connect Gmail, Calendar and Drive at claude.ai/customize/connecto… - they load into the CLI automatically on the same account
7. Wrap the whole chain in .claude/skills//SKILL.md so the entire thing runs as one command: /
the whole setup takes around 20 minutes
now the part nobody wires up.
every one of those steps has the same slow spot: a tiny fork that doesn't need a thinker. which file. which tool. retry or stop. keep this chunk or drop it.
that's where Jev fits.
it can't write a word. it returns the choice with a probability in 70 to 500 milliseconds, at $0.042 per million input tokens, output free. that's thousands of decisions for the cost of one LLM call.
> let Claude think.
> let Jev decide what deserves Claude.
> let code do the actual work.
what you end up with: the full Anthropic stack running on your own machine - persistent memory, a swarm that explores in parallel, a real browser, your mail and drive, and Jev making the thousands of tiny calls in between
the step-by-step setup is in the article below. save this before your next session.

A woman can love you and still not be attracted to you because love and attraction are not the same thing for women.
Love is emotional. Attraction is biological. You can feed her, house her, protect her, and even die for her. But if she doesn't respect you, she's not gonna desire you. Most men have never learned this.
They think being nice earns loyalty. They think being vulnerable earns intimacy. But the truth is, women don't crave weakness. They crave strength they can trust. From the beginning of time, the feminine has sought the masculine for one thing: safety. Emotional, spiritual, physical, financial. Safety is the root of a woman's attraction, and safety doesn't come from being soft or from being nice. It comes from being strong.
You can cry, you can break down, you can even be human, but you better get up fast because the moment a woman starts to mother you is the moment her libido dies. She'll still love you, she'll still care, she may even defend you, but her body won't respond to you because biologically, women cannot be attracted to something they have to protect.
So men, stop chasing comfort and stop looking for a woman to heal you. That's not her role. Her attraction is feedback. It's a mirror showing you whether you're strong or not. You do not earn her attraction by begging for it or pandering for it. You earn it by being undeniably strong. Strong in your word, strong in your purpose, strong in your boundaries. Because the truth is, women do not fall in love or stay in love with weak men who talk about changing. They fall in love with men who already have.
She can love you, brother, but she'll only be attracted to you if she respects you. So become that type of man. Become the type of man she can feel safe with
i'm running a 27b uncensored🚨model at 50 tok/s on a 12gb rtx 3060 and it does not say no to anything ⚠️
model just finished full harmbench red-team suite against it, 200 behaviors, and it refused zero. not a few. zero. aligned models sit in the 90s.
the model is ternary bonsai 2 with the heretic uncensoring pass, the weights are ternary, just -1, 0 and +1, so the whole 27b is a file small enough that a gaming card from 2020 holds it with room to spare, and it's a reasoning model. it thinks before it answers, and it still keeps the pace
the speed is the head i grafted on, a draft model that predicts the next token before the big model checks it. speculative decoding. the card fires a guess, the 27b confirms, and you get 50 tok/s instead of 39
the whole thing, weights, head and a 128k context window, sits in 10.7 of the 12 gb. kv cache at q4. nothing exotic, one card, one power plug
why uncensored. because it's mine. no api keys, no terms of service, no model deciding what an adult is allowed to ask. the refusals left in it are ones it chose, and there are almost none
that's the whole point of running local. the policy lives in your house, not someone else's

You might be aware of it, but 99.9999% of people still cannot fathom how God-awful mycotoxins are.
Experts often can not distinguish between people with traumatic brain injuries and people who have been exposed to mold.
So.....mold exposure can obviously cook the brain (immune system, hormones etc) of a small kid.
Let me dumb it down more.
Saying that proven neurotoxins can cause well....issues within the brain is a "conspiracy theory" is the exact opposite of a "scientific opinion" :)
