I honestly don't think Kevin Klein even realizes when he's lying now. It's happens so easily for him.
A 60-year-old man bragging about once being a finalist, not even a winner, for a top 40 under 40 competition is sad.
A bit rich coming from the guy who voted against pursuing the legal action that recovered $30 million. The inquiry commissioner praised the elected officials who fought to get that money back. Klein wasn’t one of them.
Premier Kinew called it a “total catastrophe,” and the new inquiry report shows why. Winnipeg taxpayers were overcharged by $43.3 million on the police HQ, a project that came in $74 million over budget and two years late.
The report has 25 recommendations. Winnipeggers deserve a City Hall that acts on them and is open about how every dollar is spent.
It’s time for change. Vote Kevin Klein on October 28.

Clock is ticking for a Hellebucyk-Buffalo trade, but a second line of Perfetti - Bjorck - Quinn might actually be pretty good. Even if Viggo isn't ready yet, Perfetti (playmaker) and Quinn (shooter) would complement each other.
I’m 10 minutes into a high school convocation and how have we not figured out how to make these things any less painful over the last century?
Today's news makes my Jets - Red Wings mega-trade even more interesting:
To Detroit:
Connor
Scheifele
Hellebuyck
To Winnipeg:
Cossa
Sandin-Pellikka
Danielson
Kasper
Brandsegg-Nygård
Tell me that's not a fun deal...
I wonder how Scheifele feels about Buffalo...

For anyone curious, there is actual data on this. For every 100 new market rate units, nearly 70 units become available to below median income households, 31 of which are in the bottom quintile (!).
